Starting at the long driveway through the pastures to the main house, you'll feel transported to your own country farm. The house exterior bears the traditional charm of a farmhouse, complete with wrap around porch. On the inside, this modern farmhouse has been freshly renovated and updated throughout for comfort and style. Partial open concept features a chef's kitchen, dining area plus breakfast bar, and an elegant parlor, attached to a large living room. Multiple large screen smart TVs, and dedicated work spaces are also included on multiple floors. The structure consists of 3 levels: a main floor, (Kitchen/Parlor/Dining/ Living Room/ 2 Bedrooms/ Bath), an upstairs (Master/ Bath/ Loft-bedroom+office) and a large walk-out finished basement (Office/ Play Area/ Rec Area/ Bath/ Fire Stove). This farm is in the town of Columbia MO Nestled amongst miles of farmland. Downtown is just a quick drive—20 minutes or so. Ample parking in garage or on driveway. on 70 acres, parking is never a problem ;) There is very easy access to 1-70, the main highway to get to downtown, or head east toward St Louise or west to Kansas City. Orion Farm is host to the area's best grass-fed beef cattle found at various sites on property for grazing. Always practice caution and common sense, and please enjoy them from a safe distance. They are safe behind hot wire fences and moved often to around the property to optimize grass and soil health, the key to regenerative agriculture and management intensive grazing.
