"By Kent S – stayed at B-Well Westwood: A Family & Friends Experience in Apr 2022 I booked Nathan's home for a two day stay for my extended family last week. The occasion was the funeral and life celebration for my dear cousin, who had passed away unexpectedly. From the moment we opened the door, we were overwhelmed with the welcome feel of the property and the obvious care Nathan and his family had shown us. There was a customized message on the message board in the front of the house, fresh baked goodies on the counter, water in the fridge, plenty of coffee for the fancy Keurig in the coffee bar, and myriad other little touches throughout the property that made us feel completely at ease even in that most difficult of situations. The property itself is absolutely beautiful -- it is situated on the banks of a creek and has an enormous backyard replete with two firepits, lots of places to sit and hang, a swing, a fountain, and thoughtful lighting. It was the perfect hosting place for two nights of family gatherings and remembrances, with musicians setting up in the backyard and everything flowing very easily from indoors to out. There are numerous beds and they are all as comfortable as clouds -- there is one bedroom with a king and two bunks, two more bedrooms with kings, and a fourth bedroom with a queen, two bunks, and an airbed. In addition, the couch can sleep at least two adults, and in fact during our stay it accommodated a whole little family: two adults, a child, and an infant. The house has a couple of Sonos speakers that fill the house with sound; Nathan had left behind an Ipad that is connected to them and when our own family wasn't playing music there was a literal universe to pick from on the Ipad. We made use of the dart board in the sunroom, and the shuffle board table in the Cantina -- don't miss that! We enjoyed ourselves so much we are now considering making an annual pilgrimage to Abilene to honor our now passed relatives and just for the chance to stay in this house together again. It was more than just an Airbnb -- it is now a huge family memory for all of us."
