Scheduled to be completed May 1, 2020, this open concept, elegant home is purposefully and thoughtfully designed to immerse guests in nature. With large, floor-length windows, guests have a view of the dormant volcano, Mt. Edgecumbe across from Sitka Sound. Located on Cannon Island and accessible by car. The Stone Lantern House can accommodate up to 10 guests in its three, tranquil bedrooms and additional den. In addition to a Tea Room with traditional Japanese tatami mats, the Stone Lantern House boasts a wrap-around deck with full-length sliding glass doors, making you feel fully connected to the outdoors. Please feel free to contact host anytime during your stay with questions, concerns or need help finding activities to do once in town. Our Sitka Travel team is ready to assist in anyway possible to ensure your stay is easy, relaxing and of course enjoyable! Direct contact info will be emailed after reservation is confirmed. We will also include this information in the reservation packet upon arrival. Arrival instructions are emailed two weeks prior to your stay. Your host will meet you at the property to introduce themselves at check in. We will reach out to you a week prior to your trip to arrange a check in time.
