Inside you will find modern and comfortable decor with a fully stocked kitchen and all the comforts of home! Come enjoy a relaxing mountain getaway! This classic 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom Tahoe cabin has been completely remodeled creating a beautiful space your group is going to love hanging out in! The first floor of the home features a large, open-layout concept great for entertaining large groups and families with young children. All 5 of the bedrooms are located on the second level providing a great separation of space for a restful night of sleep. As you enter the home you will be welcomed by a beautiful open space featuring exposed wood beams, a lovely stone hearth fireplace, modern lighting, and stylish decor. The connected living room and dining room provide a spacious dynamic area for your group to relax, dine, or watch a movie all while warming up by the fire. In the living room, you will find a large, plush sectional couch situated around a coffee table, and a swinging chair for a fun seating arrangement. Sink into the relaxing couch as you warm up by the lovely gas fireplace, or watch a movie on the mounted 65" TV. Behind the sectional sofa, you will find the dining area which boasts a large table with seating for 8 and a built-in bar area complete with a wine refrigerator. From the dining room, you can step through the sliding glass doors and out to the spacious private deck where you will have access to the gas fire pit, BBQ, and hot tub year-round. On those chilly nights, bundle up and enjoy a s’more around the fire pit, or fire up the BBQ for a delicious dinner and enjoy happy hour outside during the summertime! Back inside you will find the beautifully updated kitchen off the dining room which is separated from the space by a half wall. The well-stocked kitchen is a gorgeous space with modern counter and cabinets, exposed shelving for the dishes, and stylish lighting above the kitchen island where you will find seating for three. In the kitchen you will also find two reading chairs underneath a bright window, the perfect quiet area to enjoy your morning coffee while you take in the surrounding scenery. A full bathroom is also located on the main level for convenient shared use and features a large single-sink vanity and a bathtub/shower combo with a sliding glass door. In the kitchen, you will find the stairs that lead to the second level, on which you will find the home's five bedrooms and an additional two bathrooms. The first bedroom features a king-size bed with a lovely wooden bedframe, matching nightstands with lamps, and stylish decor including a rug and artwork. The next three bedrooms each feature a queen-size bed, dresser, and/or closet space, bright windows, and stylish details with modern lighting and decor. The fifth bedroom of the home is a bunk room that would be perfect for families traveling with young children. This room features a twin over-a-twin bunk bed, a full-size bed, and storage space for toys or personal items. On the upper level, you will also find two stylish bathrooms with gorgeous modern details. Both of the showers feature single-sink vanities and spacious walk-in showers with lovely tilework. Located near the bedrooms is also a laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer for guest use. Located just a half mile off HWY 28 in the beautiful Carnelian Bay, you can’t beat the location of this home! While at the house you will love the peaceful surroundings thanks to the home is tucked back off the main road, making it an ideal spot for children to play outside or to enjoy the outdoor space in peace! The home places you within close proximity to the lake, multiple ski resorts, and within walking distance of year-round trail systems, a fun adventure is never far away. During the summer months make the 5-minute drive down to Waterman’s Landing Beach where you can enjoy a picnic, have a snack at the cafe, or find just about every type of watercraft available to rent. The home features beach amenities so you will have all you need to enjoy a fun day at the beach. Year-round trails are located less than a half-mile from the house where you can find plenty of places to hike, bike during the summer, and try out XC skiing and sledding in the winter. During the winter months, you are within 20 minute's drive to either Pallisades Tahoe or Northstar ski resorts and less than 10 minutes from the Tahoe Nordic XC center. If you are looking for some city life you are only 10 minutes in either direction for the beautiful towns of Kings Beach and Tahoe City where you will find white sand beaches, a movie theater, grocery stores, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, boutique shopping, farmer's markets, and live music in the summer. When it comes to a great location for everything Lake Tahoe has to offer this house cannot be beaten! Centrally located off HWY 28 the home is situated a little over half a mile from a public transportation stop. A fifteen-minute walk will take you to the public transportation TART stop Hwy 28 at Ridgewood Rd. From here you are just a 15-minute bus ride away to Tahoe City Transit Center where you can connect to locations such as Northstar California Resort. Those with a vehicle make use of being close to HWY 28 and the quick access it provides to the beautiful surrounding areas with just a 10-minute drive to Tahoe City, Kings Beach, and 15 minutes to Brockway Summit Tahoe Rim Trail Trailhead. In the wintertime, you are a 25-minute drive or less from three of the area's best ski resorts, Northstar, Squaw Valley ski resort, and Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center. Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies. Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow. Quiet time is from 9PM - 8AM. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Please note that it frequently snows in Lake Tahoe in the winter months and as this home is well above lake level on a hill it gets A LOT of snow. If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. In the winter we strongly suggest a truck or SUV with AWD or 4WD and all-terrain tires. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them.
