The space The main rooms consist of • Large drawing room with log fire. • The kitchen has seating for 12 with an adjacent service kitchen for cooking preparation. There is a range cooker, aga and oven, a microwave, two fridge/freezers, two dishwashers, a washing machine and tumble dryer. • TV room with large screen TV and a supply of games and jigsaws • The dining room ,which also seats 12, is ideal for a formal meal or family celebration. The first three rooms have Bluetooth connected music systems. Three of the rooms have open fires and a plentiful supply of logs. The gardens provide guests with total privacy and the chance to relax or play outdoor games such a croquet or boules. There is also a tennis court and two hole pitching range for enthusiastic golfers.For wet days, there are two games rooms with snooker, table tennis and darts on offer. Guest access Accessability: Most of the house is on the ground level with wide doors providing easy access for guests. There are three bathrooms on the ground level including a wet room. The house utilises the latest eco technology with ground source heating and superb insulation. And yet there are three open fires and a plentiful supply of logs from the surrounding woods. There is fast broadband throughout the house. Mobile phone coverage varies but there is a landline available for guests. There is plentiful parking and two dogs are welcome. Other things to note The house is: • one mile from the fashionable seaside town of North Berwick and all its restaurants and facilities. The town is regularly voted best place to live in Scotland. • close to several sandy beaches including Seacliffe which regularly features in Britain’s best beaches, Yellowcraig & the East & West Bays in North Berwick • close to the some of the best golf courses in Scotland including North Berwick East & West links (2 miles away) and Gullane & Muirfield (5 miles away) The area is renowned for its marine wildlife. Weather permitting, the owner can arrange for trips around the Bass Rock whose 150,000 gannets David Attenborough described as one of the wonders of the natural world.
