Escape to our charming 1900s historic chic retreat, nestled in the heart of VA wine country. Just a stone's throw from Harpers Ferry and the Shenandoah River, our location is perfect for those who love both the refined taste of wine and the thrill of outdoor adventures. Indulge in activities like kayaking, white water rafting, canoeing, and hiking, or explore the local vineyards and breweries, all set against the backdrop of stunning mountain scenery. Note: Route 340 is now open! The space Our home located in Hillsboro VA is a three bedroom, two bath home with a kitchen and living room. Bedrooms as spacious and two of the bedrooms have desk / reading nooks for telecommuters and book lovers. The property is on 4 acres with open and some forest for roaming around and enjoying nature. A little about ourselves and the property. We have dreamed of owning an Airbnb. Our goal is to have every guest feel special and enjoy the house as much as we do! We also do micro-intimate events apart of Airbnb, please reach out if interested. Guest access Access is by key pad. Code will be sent the day of check in. Please note we have a video door bell. Other things to note There are so many wonderful vineyards, breweries, hiking trails, and outdoor activities. We are very close to Shenandoah river and places for kayaking, canoeing and fishing. I am happy to provide recommendations upon request. Please note we are in the close proximity to wildlife and undeveloped land. You might see and encounter wildlife / critters while in our neighborhood and/or in and around our home. We do spray in advance in and around the home regularly to reduce the incidence of bugs. We like to keep the yard and outdoor spaces nice for our guests, in order to do so, please do not park on the grass.
