Relax and recharge in our modern cabin: high ceilings, hardwood floors, and lots of light. The private deck is designed for outdoor relaxation, great for morning coffee or evening brews. Your pup is welcome to join you when you stay in our Holly cabin. Close to Asheville, Weaverville, Marshall and Mars Hill. Outdoor activities and dining choices all within minutes of Farmside Village. The space The Holly cabin is located at Farmside Village, a group of 4 private cabins on a serene wooded hilltop of our 21 acre farm. With 1- and 2-bedroom cabins (including the Marigold cabin featuring ADA features) we can host individuals, couples, families or groups up to a maximum group sizes of 18. When you book a stay at the Holly cabin you will have the entire cabin to yourself. The Holly cabin can accommodate 2 adults and is dog-friendly! Your pup is welcome to join you for your mountain adventures. The Holly cabin features a private bedroom with queen bed, bedside tables and lamps, a ceiling fan, a small dresser and area for hanging clothes. For those that like to turn in early or enjoy sleeping late, the bedroom is a traditional room with a closing door to provide you privacy from the living area. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower (no tub). Bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths are all provided. We also provide travel-sized shampoo, conditioner and soap if you're not bringing your own. And, we provide makeup wipes, face cloths and a hairdryer as well. All linens are provided. The living area is an open-concept combination of kitchen and living room letting you maximize time with your group all in one room. The living room area features a comfy sofa and is a wonderful space to cozy up on cool evenings in front of the easy-to-use electric fireplace or to watch one of your favorite shows on the smart TV. In addition to the sofa you will also find a comfortable chair that converts into a twin bed and ottoman for kicking back to relax. The eat-in kitchen is furnished with cookware if you're taking a break from the amazing local dining options or whipping up a quick breakfast before heading out for a day of adventure. The kitchen is furnished with a counter-height refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and an induction stove. There is no oven for baking as we've discovered most of our guests on vacation prefer to try to baked goods from a few of the local bakeries - have a look at our local guide for recommendations you won't want to miss. The kitchens are well-equipped including pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware and cooking utensils. We also provide coffee and coffee filters. For families traveling with infants a pack & play is available on request. Please notify us directly, just send us a message, when you make your booking so we can ensure it is sanitized and in your cabin for your stay. The large, covered deck provides ample seating for enjoying the serenity of the outdoors and features a ceiling fan for warmer days. You will also find a bistro table and two chairs for dining on the porch. A fire ring is available in the common area for guest to use. Guests are responsible for checking for and abiding by any burn bans that may be in effect for Buncombe County. Guests regularly enjoy seeing the local wildlife including deer & wild turkey. You may even glimpse the yak across the fence on the adjoining property (please observe from a distance, don't approach them.) Pet Policy: * Maximum 2 dogs allowed * No cats, no birds, no exotics * Dog(s) must be crated when left unattended. We know you're going to want to explore all of the amazing sights of Asheville and there will be times when you're pup can't join you. Please respect our space by crating your pup when you leave them at home.
