Covered patio, hammocks, dock, and lake make the busy world seem very far away. Lake is 10 feet deep off the dock and 30 feet deep in the middle. It is great for swimming, floating, or paddling (life jackets, floats, flat bottom boat, and canoe provided) 5 miles (10 minutes) to Virginia Episcopal School 6 miles (11 minutes) to Randolph College 8 miles (12 minutes) to University of Lynchburg formerly Lynchburg College 8 miles (15 minutes) to Centra Lynchburg General Hospital 11 miles (17 minutes) to Liberty University 12 miles (19 minutes) to Lynchburg Regional Airport Guest access Park on private parking pad at top of driveway. Unpaved, uneven walkway downhill to private entrance around back of the house. We can help carry luggage through the house if needed. Key in lockbox on back patio. Other things to note A selection of various sized life jackets will be available in the walk in closet. Be aware, the lake is 10-12 feet deep off the end of the dock. I recently adopted two energetic, friendly dogs who are much larger than I expected! They love people and other dogs. I do my best to keep them in the front yard when I have guests, but there is a good chance you will meet them. Please let me know if you have any concerns.
