The Bishop House is a beautifully, remodeled home w/ original, charming features. This cozy home is less than a mile from the OU football stadium. It’s fully equipped for small groups/extended families & includes fun games & cozy nooks. The dining table & counter can seat 10 with an additional table in the kitchen. The living has a 55 in SMART TV w G-Chromecast. There are 2 patios, one being screened in and the other having a porch swing. A perfect spot to relax w friends! Bikes available. The charm and beauty of a 100-year-old home is unmatched. The old doorknobs, doors, chandeliers, wooden floors, wrap-around and screened porches all add up to heighten your admiration for this cozy get-away. Shannon wanted to keep the old charm but also wanted to update the home to work for this modern age. The home just went through a major renovation and remodel to make it the perfect place for guests to join together, cook in the kitchen, sit around the dining table or screened-in porch and just kick up their feet and relax. To accommodate 10 guests, the upstairs has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. And downstairs has a queen bunk bed and 1 bath. Every bed is comfy and has the best bamboo-sateen sheets on the market. One perk: a tankless hot water heater provides endless hot water for all those showers :) The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee maker and electric tea kettle. 1 bag of ground coffee and half-n-half are provided. The OU football stadium (Boomer Sooner!) is less than a mile away, so this home is in the perfect location to walk to campus or ride a bike. Four adult bikes are available upon request. There are games, puzzles, and kids' toys to cater to families. High chair and pack-n-play available upon request. There is also a large basement in case of tornadoes ;) *** A kind reminder... There are NO parties allowed. This is a quiet neighborhood with wonderful neighbors who we want to honor and respect. Quiet hours begin at 10:30pm. Thank you for helping us keep our neighbors happy :) This home has a keypad entry and the guests will get a specific, unique code for easy entry. Parking in the long driveway is preferred. For extra cars, you can park along the north side of the house on the neighborhood street. When booking, please let us know the purpose of your stay. Neighborhood is filled with old, historic houses. Nice children's park down the street. Will Rogers World airport is 15 miles away and Riverwind Casino is less than 5 miles away. The house is located in the heart of Norman resting on the edge of OU campus. It is a short walk to The Mont Restaurant which is a popular stop in Norman. Downtown Norman is 1/2 a mile away while OU football stadium is less than a mile away. The campus shuttle is a fun way to see all the sights of OU.
