Bring your snowmobile and hop on the famous Paul Bunyan State Trail which you have private access to at the beginning of the driveway. This beautiful historic trail is the longest state trail in MN and connects with the Heartland State Trail, Blue Ox Trail, and Lake Bemidji State Park. A short 10 minute car ride brings you to quaint downtown Bemidji where you can find the famous Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox statues as well as great local places for food, drinks, and coffee. A 10 minute drive north up the west side of the lake brings you to serene Lake Bemidji State Park where there's a boat launch, beach, and hiking trails.6 Other things to note Please let us know beforehand if you would like to bring a pet (dog) as we do charge a $50 pet fee. Limit to one pet unless expressly permitted. While there is not a sandy beach area per se, the lake is very shallow (3-4 feet deep) for a very large area around the dock, making it great for swimming and water activities. There is an AC unit in the main living area and in the master bedroom. No AC unit in guest bedroom.
