The outdoor space includes an expansive, wrap-around deck with access from every room, that brings the outdoors inside. Soak up the mountains on the deck or cozy up under the stars by the stone fire pit (firewood provided)! Don't forget to bring your bathing suits! A brand-new 6-person hot tub has just been added to the property! Sit around the fire, make S’mores, and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife. There are also picnic tables for outdoor eating and drinking. Explore the lower level game room/lounge which includes a custom bar, pool table, ping pong table, poker table, and dartboard. Enjoy your favorite movie or sports team on our 75-inch flat-screen TV in the theater room. Entertain on the top floor with an open kitchen floor plan, a wood-burning fireplace, or enjoy your morning coffee on the deck! The cabin / property is yours throughout your stay. We encourage people to have fun and enjoy everything that the home has to offer in any (safe) way you see fit. The cabin is equipped with fast WiFi provided by two mobile hot spots to ensure fast and stable internet. Shops, bars, and restaurants are 2-3 miles away in the city of Prattsville, and the towns of Hunter and Windham have wonderful restaurants, a supermarket, and antique shops. There are many things to do in the area like skiing, snowboarding & tubing. In the fall & summer months, there are a great variety of festivals & events in the Catskills, besides a wonderful golf course in Windham. We also have a backup Kohler Generator. If the power goes out, the generator will automatically start up in 10 seconds and power up the entire house. The generator is essential to have in case of bad weather/snowstorms that can knock the power out. Other things to note: We provide the following, in addition to the expected basics: linens, bath, face, and hot tub towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup remover towels, firewood, indoor and outdoor games, an assortment of spices, and many condiments in the fridge. Outdoor security cameras: There are three outdoor cameras on the property: the Ring video doorbell camera, a backyard Ring camera, as well as a motion detector camera located above the porch in the front yard. The Ring doorbell is just in case guests get locked out of the house - we can unlock the doors remotely as the doors automatically lock after being closed for 5 minutes. None of these devices can listen or see inside the house so be confident that you have complete privacy during your stay! Please note: pets are welcome, but there is a pet fee. Guest access You will have access to the entire house and 10 private acres of land to yourself to enjoy.
