Decorated in neutral colors, this room creates a soothing ambience that is perfect for rest and relaxation. The space The quiet, lovely room features a twin sized bed for a good night’s sleep. Complimentary wireless internet access. Perfect for individual travelers, the room is non-smoking. Guest access Shared spaces include living room, dining room, kitchen and lovely patio. During your stay I am available for questions by phone, text and email. The house is spacious. I am most often home in the family room or office and open to conversation if you choose. I enjoy meeting and getting to know a little bit about each guest. Other things to note We have keyless entry to the front door for you to use during your stay. If you have a vehicle you are welcome to park in the circular drive with easy access in and out. When you arrive pull into the driveway and park near the front door. If you are attending Ravinia and do not have a vehicle an Uber to one of the Park and Ride locations is a good option. It is less than $10 (approx. $8). If you take an Uber to Ravinia entrance It may be closer to $20 (approx. $18). Some of our guests walk to downtown Highland Park from the house. It is a 2 mile walk to the Metra Station as well as wonderful restaurants and shops. You cross Hwy. 41 with a walking overpass. Personal fan in room. Also available; ironing board, iron, hairdryer, bath products and fluffy white towels. There is a shelf in the kitchen refridgerator available for guests to use.
