Less than 100 km from Paris, south of Fontainebleau (25 min), located in the small, very quiet hamlet of Lorrez-le-bocage-Préaux, in the countryside, La Maison Bocager is a confidential address. It is in this old small farmhouse with a rustic look that you will discover a quiet place. Nothing ostentatious here, but it can't be confused with anything else! Google Maps: Maison Bocager, Lorrez-le-bocage-Préaux The space The 120 m² house has just been completely renovated and consists of a large living room with kitchen open to the living room and dining room (surface area of approximately 70 m²). In the middle of the room, we have installed a wood-burning stove for beautiful winter evenings to spend by the fire! A large hacienda-style mezzanine distributes 3 bedrooms (each 10 m2) and a bathroom with walk-in shower and vintage zinc bathtub. The rooms are all equipped with 5* hotel bedding. 1st bedroom: 2 beds of 90x200cm that can be joined together to make a bed of 180cm 2nd bedroom: 1 bed of 160x200 cm + 1 mezzanine with 1 mattress of 90x200 cm. 3rd Bedroom: 1 bed 160x200cm + 1 mezzanine with 1 mattress of 120x200cm. Be careful the stairs to climb into the two mezzanines of the bedrooms are quite steep. Not suitable for a child under 8 years old. Each of the rooms can be decorated with cribs. We have two available. Facing the living room, a large 2.50-meter-long bay window overlooks a wooden deck (45 m2) which is the "front door" of the garden (1200 m2). A cherry tree cabin completes the set for children under 5 years old. Wheat fields in front of you! To enhance the house we installed an above-ground pool (rectangular Intex) 6 m x 3 m x 1.30 m high. Available from June 1 to September 30. (Depending on the weather). It is placed at the bottom of the garden, facing the wheat fields! There is also a children's trampoline (up to 150kg), ping pong table and BBQ available. Guest access You will have access to the entire house. Upon arrival, you can park a car in the secure courtyard and closed by a large gate. Other things to note SHEETS & TOWELS Please note that we provide sheets and towels for all rooms as they are fitted sheets with a 35 cm fitted sheet. They are included in the price. BABY SITTING For parents coming to stay with children, we can also put you in touch with a former nanny (more than 30 years of experience and now retired) who can come to the house to babysit your babies and children during the day and evening > rate 15 euros per hour (to be paid directly on site). EARLY/LATE CHECKOUT If you would like an early (arrival before 4 p.m.) or late check-out (leaving the house after 11 a.m.), please let us know when booking. It's 30 euro for each request. Early and Late check-out This money will be requested as soon as you check in OR requested via Airbnb, which avoids a cash delivery. These conditions are carried out if the house is not re-rented before and/or after. TAXI STATION We can provide a "taxi" service to pick you up at Nemours or Moret Veneux Les Sablons train station (direct train in 46 min from Gare de Lyon in Paris) => 20 minutes maximum from the house. Price on request and to be paid on site to our partner COOK Finally, Marianne, a home chef, who resides in the hamlet, can prepare specific menus (starter, main course, dessert => veggie, family cooking...) for young and old alike on request and in advance!
