Sonos sound system for streaming music in every room; record collection (including lots of older jazz, blues, swing, and classic oldies) can also be played through the system. We've received a few questions about A/C - it's not needed! This region of the Catskills is usually about 10 degrees cooler than the city, and because of the open barn layout, we find that the house stays cool and comfortable (a max. in the low 70s), even in mid-summer. For our guests' comfort, there are fans in every room. Sorry, no pets allowed. No smoking allowed on property. Shoes off inside, please! Guest access Guests will be able to access two large bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main living space has a gourmet kitchen, island with bar stools, a table that seats 8, and a seating area around the wood burning fireplace stove. Outside there is casual seating for 4 and a fire pit (spring through early autumn only). In addition, the property sits on 5.5 acres of land and is near by to great hiking, restaurants, swimming, tubing, and skiing. Other things to note The cabin is furnace heated in the winter, and stays unusually cool indoors during the summer, so no air conditioning needed; however, we do have several fans in the house.
