The Historical Furnished house (built in 1857) , in downtown area. Casa Almar is located 25 min. from Miramar Beach, 3 min. from downtown plaza, and 5 min from the Laguna Del Carpintero/Pontoon Cruises. Kayak & Fishing (10 minutes away), Altama Mall (10 min away). The street is well lit and safe. There are no bars on this street. Includes 650 pesos to use at restaurant towards breakfast/lunch choices. Casa Almar is a memorable place, it's anything but ordinary. This listing is for 5 suites. The space This house was my parents home and now we are welcoming guests to enjoy the elegant furnishings my mother so carefully acquired over the years and the decor she so much enjoyed. Each bedroom is unique. Many of the furnishings are custom made. One of the suites has the furniture that belonged to my father's aunt... we are talking 100 year old furniture! We have been careful to maintain the furniture and we are delighted to bring in the modern (wifi, Smart TV, hot water and A/C) while preserving the old. The ideal number of guests is 15, to comfortably sleep in nice comfortable beds. However, we are allowing 20 to be flexible. And we also provide inflatable mattresses (one in each suite) and two pack & plays for little ones, shall you need them during your stay. We have a private lot with entrance and exit to the parking is in the "Calle Canseco" side of the property. In other words... around the corner. Its just an empty lot. The main entrance to the house is Calle Tamaulipas. There is plenty of street parking on Calle Tamaulipas. Casa Almar has a total of 6 suites. This listing is for 5 suites. If you are interested in the additional suite, please let me know. Guest access Their is a lot around the corner where you may choose to park without extra charge - large vehicles such as RVs. I personally park on the street right in front of the house for convenience. The neighborhood is super friendly. Some of the neighbords have been there for decades. Its a peaceful and quite area. This is a self-check-in property. Prior to your arrival we will provide the self check-in instructions. Other things to note This place is dear to my heart, being that it is our family home. I love hosting and it is my hope that it will bring you much joy to stay here. I recently had a family reunion here - at it worked great. Its the perfect place for a minimony or a destination family get-together. If you need help with anything - let me know. I can help you get a Mariachi (for the serenata) or a cheloist for beautiful classical performance. This is a home and it works very well for entertainment. My mother loved to entertain and it was built in such a way that its perfect for any family (large, medium or small) get-together that you may desire.
