The River Retreat is a family friendly home located on the beautiful Delatite River that promises a luxurious and clean stay. It is a self contained property with great views overlooking the Delatite river and Timbertop Mountain. It is a 10 minute drive from the gates of Mt Buller & Mt Stirling, & a 15 minute drive to Mansfield for all of your families needs. Just a 20-minute drive to Lake Eildon in Goughs Bay for all of your Summer boating fun! The space The River Retreat is a modern 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home comprising of open plan living and enough space in the backyard for an abundance of activities. From the house you are able to view the Delatite River, Merrijig and surrounds and the popular Alpine Mountain of Mount Buller. There is plenty of space for cars, boats and motorbikes as the property is located close to many lakes (Lake Eildon in Goughs Bay & Bonnie Doon) and a great choice of dirt bike tracks too. This property is located in a small court of only a few homes and is placed at the back closest to the river. Looking to visit Mt Buller? The large Primary bedroom with a King bed looks onto the backyard and river and encompasses an ensuite bathroom. The other two large bedrooms include a Queen bed and two bunks with one having a double bed below. The open plan kitchen area has all European appliances with a large island bench to enjoy as well as a family sized dining table. The outdoor decking has a fireplace and tv that overlooks the backyard and the river. After a long day on the ski fields, why not relax and unwind in front of the 2 fire places this property has to offer as well as the large bathtub in the main bathroom. Guest Access: At the front door there is a coded lock, which the code is given out the day before arrival. Guest access There are locked cupboards within various rooms of the property for cleaners access only. Anything without a lock on it is to be used for guests.
