Sequoia - Brightwood Inn

Queen size sleigh bed, combination whirlpool tub and shower, comfy robes, large windows with spectacular view of the park meadows at sunset. On the second floor, no elevator. The space Looks out onto Matthiessen Park. Sequoia has a queen bed, 2 side tables, a love seat, 2 recliners, a flat screen and DVD. Gas fireplace is turned on in season only. Bathroom has a 2 person combination Jacuzzi tub/shower vanity,sink and stool. Guest access The Inn has a Gathering Room (always open) with DVD's for the DVD players in each room, games, chess board, information about the area, and restaurant suggestions and menus. The common area (always open) has a refrigerator, ice, microwave, utensils, wine openers, glasses and plates for your use. The combination Dining Room/Library (always open) has five tables, a beautiful gas fireplace (in season only) and many books you can read while you're here. There are two public restrooms available if you are enjoying a glass of wine on the back deck. There is a wraparound front porch with rocking chairs and other chairs where you can relax or chat with other guests. The yard is large so if you want to play bocce ball or other lawn games you are encouraged to. We have a back porch and patio for you to relax on while you watch our beautiful sunsets. Beyond the garden gate you will find two Meditation Mazes that have been cut into the prairie. We encourage you to meander through the Mazes and collect your thoughts away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and towards the tranquility the mazes offer. During your stay We are here from 8am to 5pm and supply guests with an emergency number for when we are not here. We live on property, 30 seconds away.
