The ‘Lower Treehouse’ is a modern, private studio with soft natural light, a private bath and private driveway. It however is not an actual treehouse, it is a converted lower garage with a cute name, that is next to a big tree! This unit is close to downtown, easy access to parks and wineries and centrally located in the heart of Yakima. Comfortable, and modern, the lower treehouse will be a cozy getaway for your stay while exploring the beautiful Yakima Valley. The space Cozy, comfy, queen bed, centrally located, with well stocked amenities such as private entrance, private bath (shower only), coffee supplies, microwave, refrigerator, basic dishes, WiFi, wine opener, utensils, etc. Guest access Guests will have access to driveway, rental unit, and in summer months, there is a pool and BBQ area on site . The pool area/backyard may be shared on occasion with special permission and safety agreements, please let me know ahead of your stay if you want to schedule backyard time. I do not have laundry on site that is available to guests but there is a laundromat close by. I don’t allow guests to access my personal home or spaces for any reason unless it is an emergency and we have discussed it in depth. Thank you. Other things to note Guests are welcome to use the private driveway adjacent to the unit, or park on 22nd Avenue just around the corner. Backing out during busy times of the day can be a bit difficult as Summitview is a busy street. It does quiet significantly at night. This is a private space, but there are kids and pets on property, so occasional noise will be heard and kids live adjacent to the space, so we ask that guests also respect appropriate noise rules while staying in the unit. (You can hear us sometimes, although we try hard to be quiet, and we can hear you at around the same level.. so we ask for respect for kids’ ears, especially at night.) Example: newlyweds or Honeymooners may want a totally private space such as an “entire house” to themselves. It’s an old house and not 100% sound proof. And due to the space being a converted garage, it’s WiFi is mostly good, but not always perfect and we appreciate your understanding of this. I have the best connection possible and try my best to keep it running well for you! But if glitches happen, I will do my absolute best to fix! Please NO parties. And pets require special clearance.
