The space CONVENIENT LOCATION – Barley’s Bungalow is only a few minutes off I-40 and the Blue Ridge Parkway just east of downtown Asheville. For lovers of great food, great breweries, great views, or great adventure – Barley’s Bungalow checks all the boxes for ease of access! Only 10-15 minutes with typical traffic to downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate property entrance, South Slope, River Arts District, Black Mountain, Haywood Rd, Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Village, & so much more. SUPPLIES PROVIDED – We spoil our guests with a well-stocked home: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, washing machine detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, garbage bags, etc. KID-FRIENDLY (if needed) – Crib, glider, highchair, safety gates at top and bottom of indoor stairs, room darkening shades, pretend play campfire and grill, board games, kid-sized picnic table, & more. This home was set up by a mother of 3 who understands the importance of a space where both kids and parents can enjoy their vacation. Not everyone travels with small children so features like the safety gates can remain rolled up out of the way when not in use. VIEWS – If you're coming to Asheville for the views - you're in luck! From 2262 ft of elevation and a south facing front porch, the ever-changing mountain views are awe inspiring and mood lifting. Barley’s Bungalow is located at the top of the neighborhood and has mountain views from nearly every window. Mother Nature puts on quite a show: spring blooms, summer greens, wondrous autumn reds, and magical glittering treetops in the winter. When an occasional fog rolls in, drink your morning coffee among the clouds. CUSTOM DIGITAL GUIDEBOOK – Places we really visit. Adventures our guests raved about. In addition to our local favorites, this guide includes information about how/where inside of the home – Nespresso operation, how to work the fireplace, where to find the highchair, bear safety, etc. We also have a custom Spotify playlist & Sonos speakers to help add to the hygge mountain vibes. NESPRESSO VERTUO – We provide a generous number of pods that last most guests with typical use the entirety of their stay. If you’ve got a very long stay, many coffee-drinking guests, drink multiple cups per day, or have a favorite flavor – we encourage you to bring along additional pods that work specifically with the Nespresso Vertuo machine. If a quick and easy cup of java isn’t your jam, we also have a standard coffee maker, electric kettle, coffee grinder, & Aero press. Rather go out for your morning coffee? Check the guidebook! EASY CHECK-OUT – Load and start the dishwasher, make sure your towels are in the tub/shower, and be sure to lock the door on your way out.
