The magnificent historic mansion is situated in the township of Yankalilla, on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula -1 hour south of Adelaide. The beach is 5 minutes drive but you also have your own private pool. The grand heritage building is newly restored to a luxurious standard. The mansion is not just stately, it has been balanced with modern comfort. Plenty of space with 5 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 of which are brand new) and two large reception rooms plus two dining rooms and a large eat-in kitchen. Each room is beautifully dressed with gorgeous quality furniture & antiques. Every bed is dressed in fine linen. The main house has formal drawing room, both formal & casual dining, a fully equipped country eat-in kitchen, gorgeous relaxed lounge room with vaulted ceilings, a number of working fireplaces and a very imposing entrance hall with breathtaking original stained glass & a piano. Al fresco dining can be enjoyed with many stunning spots. The courtyard boasts a 10 seater setting & large BBQ, perfect for a group to gather, shaded by a cherry blossom tree with a rusty candelabra hanging, just don’t be too surprised if our white peacock joins you. The grounds are a wonderland with many ponds, ancient trees, arbours, wisteria walk & a courtyard which makes you feel like you are in Tuscany. Your senses will awaken as you stroll around the private park.
