Welcome to Flora House! This attractive cottage-style house was built in 1903 when Governor’s Harbour was an important pineapple growing area, exporting to Europe and the United States. Flora House has recently been completely renovated, from top to bottom, and includes everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Eleuthera! Distances: Beach: 1.4 miles - 17 minute walk (moderate hill) Grocery store: 100 meters - 4 minute walk Restaurant: 150 meters - 3 minute walk The space The stylish, well-chosen furnishings and latest modern appliances have been carefully considered, blending in well the ‘olde with the new’ and making Flora House a most comfortable, well equipped and ‘feel good’ holiday house situated in the historical quarter of Governors Harbour. Flora’s living room, kitchen and dining area open onto the terrace, the swimming pool and sunbathing deck. The three en-suite bedrooms are on the second floor and open onto a balcony with views over the tropical garden, out towards the bay, westwards and beyond. Each bedroom has a lavish en-suite bath finished in coral stone. Two of the bedroom suites have king beds and the third has a queen. The house is supported by a backup power generator in the event of a power outage on the island. Flora House is conveniently close to the main hub of Governor's Harbour. There are two supermarkets, several restaurants & a great little coffee shop, gift shops, and two banks (with Atm services) nearby. A provisioning service is available on the island, as well as taxi services to/from the airport. Simply contact us with any queries you may have.
