Unbelievable Mountain Cabin on Chattahoochee River

Beautiful mountain cabin on 5 acres just minutes away from iconic Alpine Helen. Master Bath Remodel and enlarged M Bedroom ready 3/26! Close to dozens of hiking trails and waterfalls. New outdoor pavilion w rock fireplace overlooking the Chattahoochee River, perfect for fishing, kayaking, or just enjoying nature. You will not run out of ways to sit back and relax in the 2 swings by the river. There is an abundance of deer, and wild turkey that call this home as well. Spa, fire pits too! The space Heavenly Hideaway is perfect to get away from the noise, traffic, and stress of metro Atlanta. This quiet, secluded property is perfect for reflection, renewal, and restoration. Enjoy the new outdoor pavilion with rock fireplace with firewood, 2 swings facing the river and deck to fish, watch kayakers/tubers go down the river or just enjoy the peaceful sounds of flowing water and the abundant wildlife. The lower plateau by the river is perfect for a pick up game of football, whiffle ball, frisbee, etc. For any golfers, we also have future plans to install a par 3 hole on the lower plateau and have already planted the cup and flagstick so bring your short irons for practice. There is fire pit by the pavilion in addition to the fire pit by the hot tub. There are various outdoor games including cornhole in the cabinets in the pavilion for our guests to use as well. Guest access if you turn right out of the driveway on Sang Road, it loops back around to Goat Neck Road. This is a very quiet neighborhood with nature and wildlife galore. Other things to note Heavenly Hideaway was the site of Lifetime's 2019 Christmas movie - Christmas Love Letter. We just completed in March 2026 remodeling the master bathroom and expanded the master bedroom. In November 2024, we completed a new sun room with a wood burning stove that sits off from the dining room. We use it for better views of the river and lower plateau below especially watching the deer and wild turkey graze. There is no TV in the sun room so as not to interrupt the solitude and connection with nature below. We also installed a new outdoor spa in May 2024. Iconic Alpine Helen is only 15 to 20 minutes away, depending on scheduled events in Helen, and Cleveland is only 7 miles away (Babyland General Hospital, Truett McConnell University, Ingles), Clarkesville 8 miles away (Ingles, Soque River, historic town square, etc), Tallulah Falls State Park- 21 miles/30 minutes, Clayton - 34 miles away (Chattooga River- where Deliverance was filmed) , Dahlonega- 27 miles- site of first Gold Rush, Lake Burton- 18 miles , Lake Russell- 20 miles, Lake Rabun-25 miles.
