Any easy stroll to Palisade's town center, it is ideally located near all the wonderful wineries, fruits stands, and farmers markets the Grand Valley has to offer. It's also just 30 mins to the Powderhorn ski slopes, the gorgeous Grand Mesa, and the new world-class mountain bike trail, The Plunge. Ditch your car for the two cruisers provided with the house and enjoy the blissful #PaliLife. The space Our charming home was built at the turn of the 20th century. As the home is over 100 years old, we are slowly modernizing spaces and utilities while taking pains to preserve it's original characteristics. Due to this, the property has some adorably quirky features. The house has an open flow and lots of light. This is the perfect location for biking and all Colorado outdoor activities! Palisade has the small town feel while also being a suburb of the booming Grand Junction. Only 15 minutes away from GJ and all of it's hospitals, yet you feel like you are in another world! In the winter, head up the Grand Mesa (30 mi away) to Powderhorn for skiing/snowboarding, enjoy open terrain for world class snowmobiling at the Grand Mesa Lodge, or use the miles of snowshoe and cross-country ski trails. In the summer, go to the Grand Mesa and bike the Palisade Plunge, enjoy the hundreds of alpine lakes, fish, and camp. You can float/kayak/SUP the Colorado river, hike all surrounding mountains, bike, and much more! The home is located a few blocks from the Palisade Public Pool which is perfect to cool down in the summer! Guest access Guests may park on the street in front of the house. Once in Pali, guests may use the 2 cruiser bikes provided to get around the town.* *Please use bikes at your own risk and follow all local laws.
