Though it has been newly remodeled in 2021, this house was built in 1938 and has a very old-timey feel. The floors and the kitchen were completely remodeled in early 2021 with new drywall, new cabinets, appliances, and quartz countertops. Large windows in the main bedroom allow for plenty of natural light and the back bedroom has a unique nook with a desk that looks out onto mountain views on a clear day. The covered deck is a perfect place to enjoy some fresh air and cup of coffee (or beer if you’d rather) even on a rainy Seattle day. The living room has a great set-up for a cozy night with a 50 inch TV with Netflix and Hulu, and a queen-sized pull out couch with a memory foam mattress to accommodate extra guests. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking a meal with anything you may need, including a garbage disposal, pots/pans, spices, oil, utensils, Keurig coffee maker with K cups included, dishes, wine glasses, and more. There is a small table for two, where guests can share a meal together. Pets are welcome and will have a large yard to use the bathroom/run around, but be cautious as it is not fenced in. Though small in size, this unit offers a lot of charm with quick access to all of Seattle’s top attractions. • CHECK IN: Keyless self-check in. You will get a code the morning of check-in • PARKING: Parking available in the driveway for 1 car and free street parking on Phinney Ave in front of upper unit entrance for additional cars. Plentiful parking usually available. The driveway itself is a little steep, since the unit is located on a hill. If it is an issue, you are more than welcome to park on Phinney Ave and walk down the small hill to the lower unit. • LOCATION: This area is very residential but access to Greenwood restaurants, bars, breweries, and more is a short ½ mile walk and is very enjoyable on a nice day. We recommend walking down Phinney Ave and cutting over to Greenwood Ave on 87th St. • TRANSPORTATION: Greenwood Ave has a bike trail that makes this area readily accessible via bike and the bus stop is not even 1 block away for those without cars. Uber pickup and drop off is also very easy in this residential location. Northgate light rail station is a 7 minute drive. Some notes about the property: • This is a lower unit of a duplex so there will be some footstep noise from the top unit. We live in the upstairs unit so please let us know if there is anything you need. Though we may not be available 24/7, we will try to promptly address any concerns • Though it is listed for 6 people, the unit itself is fairly small with only one bathroom so it would be a cozy stay with that many. • Pets are allowed-we ask a 2 pet maximum rule (may make exceptions on a case by case basis). $50 non-refundable pet fee.
