Guest suite in Charlottesville

This spacious and sunny garden-level, studio apartment with a private entrance, full bath, and kitchenette is the perfect home away from home for your stay in Charlottesville. Minutes from UVA, the Downtown Mall, Darden, and Barracks Road. The space Fernwalk Apartment is a "garden-level" studio apartment located on the ground level of my house. The entrance to the apartment is at the back of house. The house itself was built in the 1940's and this space has been slowly renovated in stages, retaining unique features from every era. It is an eclectic and inviting space, which opens out onto my current work-in-progress garden and yard. Proximity to the goats is one of my favorite things about this space ~ you can enjoy your coffee on the patio while you observe the antics of Harvey and Edward :) Guest access This is a garden-level efficiency apartment with private entrance located on the ground floor of my home. Parking is available in the lower driveway on the right side of the house - follow the white gravel path around the back of the house to find the door to Fernwalk. The apartment has a full-bath, kitchenette stocked with dishes, utensils, etc, dining area, comfortable lounging space, and a TV with access to local channels and Roku. Once you check-in the space is yours to enjoy. There is also an outdoor patio area adjacent to the apartment. You may see me out and about in the yard or tending to the goats! Other things to note Check-in is anytime after 4pm. I always appreciate knowing when you intend to arrive but I've set things up so that self-check-in will be a breeze. If I am not on-site I will be available by phone, should you need assistance. Check-out time is 11am. I collect transient occupancy and sales tax for each reservation and remit these amounts to the City of Charlottesville and the State of VA, respectively, as required by law.
