Description

Relax with the whole family pampered in the comforts and amenities at Harmony. You will be surrounded by the beautiful sights and sounds of the Appalachian mountains yet only minutes to downtown and so close to many local attractions in and around Blue Ridge, Georgia Note: Harmony is a non-smoking, no pet cabin, which allows us to offer the safest and cleanest indoor environment for our guests who are sensitive to smoke or animal dander. The space Harmony is a spacious cabin with views and privacy with 3.4 acres of Appalachian mountain all around you. If you are up for adventure and decide to go out for a walk, you will find nearby Fightingtown Creek and might run into various wild life along the way. We would like to share a few words on certain realities about your upcoming stay in a cabin in the mountains. As cabin owners, we take great pride in providing a well-maintained space with quality amenities, full cleaning services after each check out, and professional pest control every 4 weeks to ensure the cabin is always in top-notch condition. However, due to the cabin’s location in the mountains, there are certain elements that are naturally more difficult to control. Dust and Spider webs. The cabin is cleaned thoroughly after each cleaning. However, the cabin may sit unoccupied for a few days, so dust and spider webs on the decks and dust and pollen on the outdoor furniture can surface very quickly. Please use the brushes on the top and bottom decks to remove any light dust off the furniture. If you feel there is a more significant issue with the cleaning, please take photos of the findings and text or call our cleaning supervisor to handle the situation for you. Bugs and Rodents. We have a pest control services regularly to minimize the presence of bugs and rodents, but it can be difficult to fully control these creatures as they are all part of the mountain environment and on some days they find their way into the cabin. If you find spiders or other bugs, please use the broom in the kitchen to stomp and get rid of the intruding bug. While we do our best to manage these factors, some natural elements are simply part of the charm—and reality—of staying in a mountain cabin. These creatures are simply part of the surrounding ecosystem, their presence while unwelcome, is to be expected. To help manage them, one easy step you can take is to keep food sealed and stored properly, and make sure doors and windows are closed or screened. Wildlife. The North Georgia Mountains are home to a wide variety of incredible wildlife, making the area a special destination for nature lovers. Guests may spot deer grazing at dawn, wild turkeys wandering through the trees, and even black bears foraging in the distance. Other common wildlife includes raccoons, foxes, owls, and a range of songbirds and reptiles. While experiencing this wildlife can be exciting, it’s important to take a few precautions. Always store food securely, avoid feeding any wild animals, and keep trash inside or in bear-proof containers. Be aware of your surroundings when hiking or spending time outdoors, and never approach or attempt to interact with wild animals. With a little care, you can safely enjoy the rich natural beauty of the region. We hope you have a delightful and safe experience during your stay. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions. Guest access You will have the entire cabin to yourself. We will send you a 4 digit entry passcode to enter the Harmony 4 days prior to your arrival. Other things to note Power outages are very common in our area and they usually only last a few hours. In the event of a power outage, we ask that you wait for 24 hours for the power to be restored. If power outage lasts longer then 24 hours, then you can choose to stay or leave. If you choose to leave, you must notify the hosts and AirBnB of your decision. Note: We will only refund you for the nights you do not stay. AirBnB fees, taxes, cleaning fees, and administrative fees will not be refunded as these fees are out of our control.
