We are located near the local activities in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg but far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains. Relax in the hot tub while soaking up the spectacular views! Our cozy cabin is in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains and is the perfect getaway for those seeking a mountain escape but still wanting to be close to the local attractions Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg have to offer. Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you relax on the decks taking in the wonderful views! Enjoy a morning cup of coffee from the deck and relax in the evenings taking in the serenity of the mountains. During the summer months and holidays, you can view Dollywood's fireworks display in the distance to the left of the top deck. Every evening, come home to the peacefulness of the mountains and nightly views of the flickering city lights in the distance. The property line of our cabin goes just past the propane tank in front of the cabin. Please refer to the photo in our listing which shows space for two vehicles. ❋ For more information about the space and area, please see below! Our cabin is located among a row of other cabins on the side of the mountain. Inside the cabin, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen with standard kitchen appliances, bakeware, cookware, and tableware that provides everything you need to make a delicious home-cooked meal. The main level bedroom hosts a king bed with a full bathroom. A second king bed is located in the loft with a second full bathroom. Around the corner of the loft are twin bunk beds, perfect for younger guests. And when it's time to have some fun, head up to the loft where you'll find a pool table and arcade game with over 1,000 games to choose from! But the fun doesn't stop there! Our cabin is just a short drive from the Dollywood Theme Park. Other popular attractions in the area include the Gatlinburg SkyBridge, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You'll never run out of things to do and see during your stay! Smoky Top Cabin is the perfect place to experience the beauty and charm of the Smoky Mountains while still being close to all the fun and excitement of the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area. We would love to share our cabin with you to create unforgettable memories with your loved ones! Additional Helpful Information Below: LOCATION: The cabin is located 5 miles from red light #8 on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and 6.5 miles to the Dollywood entrance off of Veterans Blvd and the Cal Ripken Baseball Experience. Downtown Gatlinburg is only a short 20-minute drive and you are only a 30-minute drive from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. DRIVE: As with most cabins with a view, the cabin is located in the mountains. Parts of the drive will be curvy/winding and include steep/narrow portions. Take your time on the drive up if you are not familiar with navigating mountain roads. We recommended getting to the cabin before dark on your first trip up the mountain. In the event of inclement weather during the winter season (snow or ice), you will need 4WD (4-wheel drive), AWD (all-wheel drive) to get up to the cabin. Depending on the severity, tire chains might be necessary. Please check the weather forecast when planning your trip and prepare for inclement weather accordingly. PETS - Please ensure your pet/s are accounted for on your reservation, failure to do so will incur an additional fee of $200 per pet. - Pets must be house-trained. - Maximum of 2 pets each under 50 lbs. - Pets are NOT allowed on furniture (beds, couches, chairs, etc.) - If pet hair is found in bed linens, additional fees will be applied. - Pets cannot be left alone in the property. If you plan to leave your pet at home, it must be kept in a kennel/crate. - Please be respectful and clean up after your pet and throw waste away in the trash. WILDLIFE: Because the cabin is located in the wilderness area, you will likely see and hear critters. As hard as we try to prevent pests with a comprehensive pest control process and monthly treatments, there may still be visits from our multi-legged friends in the cabin. Please help prevent it by closing entry doors when not in use. Lastly, it is not uncommon to encounter wildlife animals, such as bears while staying in cabins in the Smoky Mountains. Please keep your distance. Close your car windows and lock the doors. Do not leave food in the car or unattended outside of the cabin. ENTRY: The front door has an electronic keypad in which you will enter your personalized key code provided on your check-in date. Check-in is anytime after 4 pm EST. Check-out is at 10 am EST. AMENITIES: Our cleaning service provides start-up supplies including one roll of paper towels, dish soap, two dishwasher pods, kitchen trash bags, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, hand soap, and bathroom trash bags. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase additional items when the initial supply runs out. Toiletries such as bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and floss are NOT provided. HOT TUB: Private Hot Tub Glass is not allowed near the hot tub. Do not use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or are pregnant. Before use, please read the hot tub rules sign located to the right of the hot tub. Use the hot tub at your own risk. Please do not increase the temperature of the hot tub to higher than 102 degrees Fahrenheit. Please cover when not in use. POOL: The community pool is located half a mile from the cabin and is available starting Memorial Day weekend through the last week in September. TRASH: Please place all trash in trash bags and place it in the bear-proof trash container on the side of the cabin. We do not have regularly scheduled trash pick-ups. SECURITY: One Ring Floodlight Security Camera at the corner of the cabin facing the driveway. NO Cameras indoors or on the decks. SMOKING: Absolutely NO Smoking Indoors INCLEMENT WEATHER: During the winter months, snowfall is common, resulting in occasional power outages and icy roads. If traveling during this time of the year, please prepare accordingly. We are not held responsible for any accidents/damages that might occur as a result of the conditions mentioned above.
