Welcome to our Wilderness Retreat — an Oklahoma Ozark getaway with adventure built right in. At night, the property’s cave transforms into a magical haven , adorned w/soft lights and featuring a table for two. YOU CAN FIND HER INFO IN OUR PHOTOS We are a 420 friendly and pet friendly property. The indoor space features 1 king bed in the master bedroom with a large cedar closet, bedroom 2 offers 2 full size beds and a chest of drawers full kitchen featuring a kureig & popcorn station, and reverse osmosis water filtration for the cleanest water possible! Dining area seats 4 and offers a workspace as well as a bar stocked with glasses and tools to serve drinks . Living area has a leather couch 55" tv with Roku 1 bath room with washer and dryer The front yard features a scenic cave with a natural spring.Inside the cave remains 50-60 degrees year round regardless of the outside temperature . After dark the cave lights come on for a unique experience for two. NOTE: The cave lights are solar and only provide light for 2-3 hours after dark. Seasonally enjoy the tranquility and the sounds of the babbling brook that flows in the cave. The property is gated but NOT fully fenced. The home is nestled in between two large hills that offer beautiful views of the propery while giving you guaranteed privacy. IF it is rainy season (late winter/ early spring BRING RAIN BOOTS when the water level rises in the cave after a heavy rain it can cover the walkway by a couple inches (ankle deep) its still very accessible and we want you to be prepared. You can Contact me prior to your visit for a "Cave Report". The cave is now a shared amenity with our guests at the neighboring property . The location of the cave (near the road) ensures that your stay won’t be disturbed at the cabin and you will still have full privacy . If you see someone walk into the cave from the front yard just give a friendly wave ! Please contact me immediately during your stay if there are any issues or concerns. The backyard features the real experience with a LUXURY Spa,picnic table, firepit/ w social area for 4 or chimnea for 2 , bbq grill, large overlook with a view and the 1 mile hiking trail. Outdoor games include Light up Cornhole ,Axe throwing booth, & Pool Table. NEWLY ADDED TRAIL---ADVANCED MOUNTAIN CLIMBING ADVENTURE features 3 extremely steep and ruff cut inclines that we can mountains. This trail is for experienced users only. People with limited abilities should stay on the original Wilderness Hiking Trail Coming soon RV SPACES available at our neighboring property ! Guest access Plan an outting to The Natural Falls State Park, to Eucha and Grand Lakes, Salina Speedway, Disney Dam area for rockcrawlers, check Mid America Outdoors to see if they have any scheduled events less than 5miles away . We are also 30 minutes from the Illinois River and rental outfitters for kayaks and rafts . 30 min from Rocklahoma Muscle beach is a fresh creek at the mouth of Eucha Lake that is good swimming during summer and is 3-4 miles away from the cabin. turn right onto hwy 59 and follow it to the eucha bridge and turn left follow that road past the double bathrooms and onto the 3rd road to the right that is gated but open to the public. Other things to note Please note that you could see our Great Pyrenees briefly during your visit, he is super friendly and well mannered. Should his visit be a bother tell him to go home sternly or contact me directly . We do not provide any archery items per our insurance . I know previous reviews have mentioned it . We do have hay bales but do not provide bows or arrows . The cave is now a shared space. We are piloting this idea. Guests from the Rv Park across the street in the woods and our second rental may visit briefly to explore the cave. Due to the caves location by the road we believe that it wont interrupt the privacy at the cabin. That being said please contact us if you're having issues with a guest from another property as their privileges can be revoked . Your experience is our priority . Additionally , all other outdoor spaces are private to this property.
