Cozy Clifftop View offers relaxation & adventure close to town. Unwind in this cozy hideaway overlooking the rolling hills & valleys just south of Chewelah. Enjoy a steaming cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine while mother nature paints the sky and various wildlife roam. Although shops & restaurants are only a short drive away, the area offers peace and tranquility. The space The Clifftop View is a dog friendly hideaway nestled on 40 acres surrounded by trees and fields. This secluded atmosphere will help you unwind and relax after a day of shopping locally or experiencing the many outdoor activities the area offers. Recently updated, offering a comfortable queen size bed and private bathroom on the second floor above a detached garage. Two folding twin beds with 5inch foam mattress are available upon request. The space comes set up to sleep 2 for immediate occupancy. If the twin folding beds are needed, additional time will be required to make the unit available. Guests will be provided additional linens, blankets and pillows for no additional charge. The small kitchenette area has a SS refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and toaster for your convenience. Be aware, this is NOT an apartment. It does not have a stove for cooking hot meals. We offer occasional snacks such as protein bars, popcorn, and oatmeal items to get you through your first night. We include coffee/filters, tea, and creamer. We have excellent well water which you can obtain from the bathroom sink for drinking/coffee or bring your own. Guests are not required to wash their dishes. Host provides a tote for the dirty dishes. We ask that you place them in the tote. In the rear of the unit, there is a propane grill and a propane firepit for your evening enjoyment during Spring to early Fall. (Seasonal) Guests with children, please be aware the property is on a cliff/hilltop. The property is not fenced. Guests are responsible for the safety and well-being of their children. Host is relieved of all responsibility. We are a pet friendly family and offer our booking to those traveling with dogs. Sorry but we cannot accommodate cats at this time. Please do not let your pets sleep on the bed(s). Pets will be billed $25 extra per stay. Failure to notify host will result in a $50 additional fee for cleaning. Pets are NOT to be left alone in the rental. There are no fences or confinements for pets. Pet owners are responsible for keeping their pets safe and on the premises. Cleaning up after your pet is expected. Wi-Fi is available for viewing/streaming from your favorite apps through Smart TV. Factors associated with small town/rural area may affect the availability and you may experience buffering. Guests will be provided one uncovered, private parking site close to the entrance. Please Park to the left of the two-car garage. Additional parking spaces can be available upon notification. We are easy to find; just minutes off Highway 395, south of Chewelah, boasting picturesque sunrise/sunsets and rolling fields below. Attractions near us include the quaint town of Chewelah, the Chewelah Casino, the popular Chewelah Golf Course, pristine lakes and one of the largest ski resorts in Washington State....49 Degrees North. My husband and I enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing, swimming, camping and hunting. Come enjoy our little piece of heaven and make memories of your own. Guest access Cozy Clifftop View overlooks the Chewelah Casino. Just a short drive north, takes you into the town of Chewelah, offering a variety of activities and shops. Many hiking trails and lakes for your outdoor adventures. Other things to note Our property is located approximately a mile off Farm to Market once you turn in Iverson way. You will drive through our neighbor's yard about half way up the driveway. Follow the gravel drive to the top! We’re excited to have you as our guests. Please note this is a rural mountain area and appropriate transportation is required especially during adverse weather. Guests assume full responsibility for traveling in rural area. We do try to keep the road plowed during winter but we do work full time so it may not be plowed until the evening. Please plan appropriately. Occasionally we experience power interruptions. Host is not responsible for acts of nature that may interrupt your stay. We will do our best to ensure you have a wonderful 5 star visit.
