A perfect location for a Rhode Island coastal getaway! Just a 30 second walk to Island park beach. Walk to Flo's for a RI Staple- award winning Clamcakes & Chowder or a Lobster Roll! (a stones throw from the cottage) Take your food across the street, lay out a blanket or chairs and enjoy it right on the beach as the sun sets. Walk along the oceanfront w fantastic views, restaurants, shops, and stop at Schultzy's for delicious ice cream to cap off the night. Short trip to Newport! Fully updated inside and out with brand new cedar shake siding this sun drenched 1300 square foot cottage has a huge sunroom and living area, spacious dining room, updated kitchen and bathroom, and 3 comfy bedrooms upstairs. Sleeps 6 in the 3 bedrooms upstairs. There is a queen sized sleeper sofa downstairs that sleeps another 2 people so the home can sleep 8 and we will consider it on a case by case basis. If you have a party of 7 or 8 people please do reach out to us. High efficiency Navien heater with full baseboard heaters on the first level which heat the home and upstairs nicely on most nights. Brand new high efficiency Vornado room heaters available for upstairs bedrooms on particularly cold nights to provide more than enough heat upstairs as well. Perfect little backyard fully fenced in for your furry friends. 3 dedicated parking spaces. We have a 3 car max limit. Should you need additional parking for guests who may visit you at the home, there is typically some on street parking available within 100 feet of the home always. There's also a playground located 300 feet from the house (4 minute walk) where there is parking available for guests who may visit while you are staying. We just ask that our neighbors driveways and dedicated spaces are respected always. A Blink security camera is on the front exterior of the house facing the street for guest and owner security. There are no security cameras anywhere inside the cottage. There is also a “Minut” brand noise monitor inside of the home that alerts the owners in the event of a fire alarm going off or very high unusual decibel noise levels. Please note that this noise monitor does not record voices. It’s simply to alert the owners of fire alarms or loud decibel noise levels in the event of a prohibited loud party and for guest and owner security. Full property is open to guests including the cozy fenced in backyard space and storage shed. 3 dedicated parking spots. Always available to help. We live less than 15 minutes from the beach house Settled in 1638 and one of the 3 towns on Aquidneck Island, Portsmouth RI is rich in history and full of charm . The cottage is located in Island Park which is a quaint coastal neighborhood with a lot of personality and character located right near the heart of it all! The cottage is a true 90 second walk from the beach. Perfect for lazy summer beach days under the Rhode Island sun! In addition to the oceanfront, there is a quiet cove on the backside of the neighborhood called Bluebill Cove that is perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking. If you have children there is a great brand new fenced in playground and park just around the corner a 2 or 3 minute walk from the cottage. It was built in late 2021 and has everything you can think of to burn off the little ones energy at the end of each day! We also allow up to 2 pets at no additional charge. The home has a perfect little private fenced in backyard so kids or pets can let some energy out during your stay or go for a walk steps from the cottage down the coastline of the oceanfront! We are a 10 minute drive to historic downtown Bristol. Spend a day freely roaming the charming streets of Bristol which has been kept in its original historic form and is host to the oldest and most famed 4th of July parade in the country. We are 15 minutes from downtown Newport RI and it's cobblestone Thames Street with quaint shops and restaurants along the harbor. Take a 5-10 minute walk or a 3-4 minute bike ride (2 bikes in the shed/male and female size) to the center of town and check out some of the local restaurants and pubs like Localz Kitchen (yummy food!) and Graziano's 501cafe. We are 30 minutes from downtown Providence and 45 minutes from Boston (via highway). We have 3 dedicated parking spots. There’s usually extra parking on the street across the street along the fences and there is additional parking 200 feet away at the park and playground if needed. Please do not block the neighbors driveways. 2 bikes in the shed/ male and female. Uber and Lyft service the area and can take guests to downtown Bristol or downtown Newport for less than $20 each way. Providence would run $30 each way and boston would be $60 each way.
