Welcome to The Rower's Cabin — your lakeside retreat on pristine Skaneateles Lake. Just 5 miles from the Village, this charming rustic cottage blends relaxation and recreation for all ages. Enjoy shared beachfront access with a private dock and two kayaks. Challenge friends on your private Har-Tru tennis court. The space 2026 UPDATE: New beds! No more twins! House has total of 4 queens (one is queen over queen bunk) and a pullout that is also a queen. AND Outdoor shower- with lake views if you’re tall enough... 2025 UPDATE: Brand-new red oak hardwood floors throughout and a beautifully updated kitchen make this cabin better than ever. The open floor plan is cozy and inviting, with two bedrooms sleeping up to 8 guests. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, and a queen over queen bunk bed— ideal for families. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed. The living room has a sofa bed/couch. Enjoy fast Wi-Fi (489 Mbps), a 50" HDTV with Roku, Netflix & HBO Max, a dedicated workspace, and in-unit washer/dryer. Note: Saturday-to-Saturday 7-night minimum preferred in July and August. Guest access The entire cabin and full one-acre property are yours to enjoy! Shared lake access is located just to the northwest of the cabin, complete with a private dock and two kayaks. The private Har-Tru tennis court is available to guests at all times except when used by my tennis league: - Mondays: 9:30–11:30 AM - Wednesdays: 10:30 AM–12:00 PM & 6:00–8:00 PM - Fridays: 9:00–10:30 AM Self check-in is easy via the secure lockbox. Other things to note Perfectly located at the 5-mile point of the 16-mile lake — just 8 minutes to the charming Village of Skaneateles, 25 minutes to Syracuse University, and 45 minutes to Cornell.
