As soon as you arrive at this charming vintage bungalow, built in 1947, you'll feel the warm character and inviting atmosphere that make it a delight. The original hardwood floors, warm lighting, and friendly spaces will instantly make you feel at home. This delightful bungalow was designed to provide the best possible experience for your stay, whether it be two days or a month, we're equipped with everything you need.

THE SPACE

This delightful 3 bedroom/2 bath home offers a stylish interior is professionally designed to combine comfort and style. The kitchen is great for cooking, fully stocked with updated stainless steel appliances, it has everything you need to cook a delicious meal. You'll feel at home in the cozy living room, which offers a place to entertain the whole family or relax. The spacious and comfortable bedrooms provide a tranquil setting for sleeping, reading, and relaxing. Each bedroom is equipped with medium-firm to firm mattress, soft 100% cotton bedding, 2" blinds, and room-darkening curtains to ensure a restful sleep after a long day of exploring the New River Gorge.

In the backyard, you will find a covered patio space with market string lights, dining table + chairs, and a charcoal grill (don't forget to bring your own charcoal & lighter fluid).

If you need to work, we've got you covered with free wifi throughout the house. If it's laundry day, there's a washer and dryer that are available for your use. And don't worry about bringing linens - we supply them all!

Our professional housekeeping and management team will make sure you have a wonderful stay every time.

This home is a delightful retreat for remote workers as it offers a private, dedicated work from home office space complete with a desk, desk chair, and lamp.

The kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances, electric stove top, pots, pans, dishes, silverware. This home does not offer a dishwasher; however, the large two-sink basin and drying rack make up for it. While there is no complimentary breakfast, we always make sure there is coffee stocked for your convenience.

The living room has a 43" flat screen smart TV where you can access your Netflix account. You can log into any other of your favorite streaming apps with your username and password.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE

- Our Gorge Getaway is an older home, it has some imperfections, and is full of character and charm! The first ensuite bathroom features a retro tub and shower combo, and although it is slightly smaller than standard, it's no less enjoyable. The second full bathroom also features a retro tub and shower combo, which is the standard size - perfect for after a day of play outside in New River Gorge. If you're looking for a unique getaway with a touch of nostalgia, this is the perfect spot for you!

- SHORT-TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT

If you choose to book this property, the primary Guest must sign a Rental Agreement and provide a valid photo ID within 48 hours of booking. If the required documents are not returned within the stated timeframe, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Details will be sent immediately after booking.

- Parties and events are not allowed

- Owner MUST Pre-Approve Pets BEFORE BOOKING.We are Dog friendly on a case by case basis. We do require a $100 non-refundable pet fee per pet + $500 refundable security deposit. Max pets 2. The security deposit will be returned within 7

business days if there is no damage to the property. Send us an Inquiry BEFORE booking with pets.

- Maximum Occupancy: 8 guests. We ask that you kindly respect our maximum occupancy requirement. During certain times of the year, we offer a discounted rate + an additional guest fee. If you have added additional guests, we understand. Please send us a message and we will update your reservation. The number of guests includes adults and children (not infants).

- MAX CARS: 2. This home offers off-street parking. The driveway can fit 2

cars. Please do not park on the street.

** We have a video doorbell installed at the front door of our property, monitoring the sidewalks, and front yard 24/7. Audio and video recording from this location is triggered by movement at the front door. Unauthorized parties, illegal behavior, and unregistered guests are strictly not allowed, and we have zero tolerance for any violations. All recorded footage is accessible to us anytime, so that we can ensure the safety of our property.

** We ask that guests respect our neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and guests will be asked to leave.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

IMPORTANT: We highly recommend trip insurance as we do not provide refunds outside of our cancellation policy. Weather, family emergencies, sudden illness, natural disaster, etc., do not qualify for a refund. Trip insurance is very affordable and will typically cost less than 10% of your trip cost.
