The 1800 sq ft walk out secondary unit with beautiful views has 9 foot ceilings and offers you a spacious spot to socialize after having spent the day on the water, in the sun or by the fire gazing at the stars and making S'mores. A bbq is available for your outdoor cooking needs near the house as well as a chimenea close by too. A limited amount of firewood is provided. We provide the propane for the bb1. A canoe, 3 kayaks and a stand up paddle board (up to 130lbs) will be available during the months of May-September. You'll be asked to sign a waiver if choosing to use these pieces of equipment however. Other things to note You have access to the basement apartment living area, the master bedroom and bedroom with the double and single bed. There is a door that separates a 3rd bedroom, laundry room and furnace room from the apartment that we keep closed, but not locked because of the second exit. Plenty of parking available. Cell signal is available but strength varies depending on your provider and position on the property. Wifi is provided by Starlink and is very reliable. A printer can be made available for use as well as added work space area by adding folding tables. Laundry facilities are made available to guests staying more than a week with us. Please note that the last gas station is in Key River when coming from the Parry Sound/Barrie/Toronto areas. You then have to keep driving into Sudbury if you forget to gas up there. Sudbury is another 25 minutes away from where you will be staying. When coming in from hwy 17 (Sturgeon Fall, North Bay, Ottawa), your last gas station is in Wahnapitae. If arriving from the Espanola/Elliot Lake/Sault-Ste-Marie areas, please gas up in Sudbury before heading our way. Welcome to Northern Ontario, while at the property you may be exposed to various wildlife/insects, we, unfortunately, cannot control mother nature. Please don't leave the doors open as you can not only let in insects but potentially mice and our friendly chipmunks! We cannot be responsible for wildlife during your stay. You may see swans, beavers, minks, otters, geese, ducks, foxes, mosquitos, black flies, bats, raccoons and potentially even a bear (although we have not seen one on the property) be sure to keep all food and garbage inside and picked up as it will attract animals. 1hr from Killarney Provincial Park 30 minutes from Kivi Park 30 minutes from Science North 25 minutes to Sudbury.
