Welcome to Serenity in the Pines, our beautiful Twain Harte cabin located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Enjoy a peaceful vacation in our cozy mountain home, conveniently located near the Dodge Ridge Ski Resort (20 miles) & Yosemite National Park (59 miles). Relax & unwind in the rustic mountain cabin, with its charming wood burning stove, warm pine ceilings, and beautiful sunset and partial lake views. Come relax, recharge, and make lasting memories in this mountain retreat! Fun for the whole family! So many fun outdoor activities near by including lakes, hiking, fishing, ski resorts and more! AND when you’re home you’ll never be bored! With an Infinity Game Table, Atari, corn hole, All-in-one fooseball/air hockey/ping pong table, board games, puzzles and more, your family will be entertained for days! Family Friendly - We have a pack and play, stroller, baby gates and high chair available for use at the cabin. We also have children’s books and toys! Pet Friendly - We allow 2 dogs with a small pet fee of $50 per dog. You will find dog bowls for your pups in the kitchen as well as a dog bed. We ask dogs not be left unattended in the cabin or in the deck at any time unless crated. All dogs must be potty trained to go outside (no pee pads please) and please clean up after them. Please know the property is not fenced. We welcome your pups, but please keep them on a leash outside. The pet fee for the first dog is included in your rate when you add the pets to your reservation. If you are brining a 2nd dog, an additional $50 pet fee will be charged once reservation is finalized. Twain Harte Lake - Enjoy a walk around Twain Harte Lake on the service road just behind the house. Twain Harte Lake is a private lake. You can hike around the lake, however we DO NOT HAVE A TWAIN HARTE LAKE MEMBERSHIP for guests. If you would like to partake in lake activities, we recommend Pinecrest lake. The entry level features a spacious kitchen, dining area, great room, and primary suite. Downstairs two bedrooms with a second bath. STAIRS ARE REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE HOME Self Check In - Your door code will be sent the day of check in. Twain Harte Community Pool, Twain Harte Community Tennis Courts (FREE), Twain Harte Mini Golf and Twain Harte Golf Course are all less than a mile away. Twain Harte Community Pool availability is posted on their website. Pool Fees paid to the Community Pool at the gate: Under 3 Free, Ages 3-17: $2.00 Ages 18-61: $3.00 Ages 62+: $2.00 Family Fee: $8 per family (up to 2 adults and 5 children) Non-Swimming Parent Free with paid child. This cabin DOES NOT have Twain Harte Lake Access. Pinecrest lake is nearby and is a public lake with boats, swimming, events and more. We are available after hours (by phone) in case of emergencies Owner and Hosted by Katie & Sean Bean (Bean Family Properties) The cabin is 15 min walk or a quick 1 min drive to downtown Twain Harte. Twain Harte offers a Community park, Public Pool, Golf, Mini Golf and Tennis Courts which are all close by. Lots of hiking trails near by as well. Leland snowplay and Longbaarn Ice Rink are nearby as well. A short 20 min drive to Dodge Ridge ski resort and Pinecrest Lake. 15 min to Black Oak Casino and historic Gold Country. 12 min to Sonora and only 59 miles to Yosemite National Park! There is also a bus to Yosemite National Park that picks up nearby in Sonora! About a 1 mile walk/drive to Twain Harte Community Pool, Twain Harte golf course, downtown Twain Harte, Twain Harte Tennis Courts, and Eproson Park! The cabin is on a main road. In the winter the road is plowed by the county. 4x4 and chains are recommended during snow season. Bus to Yosemite National Park picks up in Sonora When you stay at our cabin you are in nature! This is bear country, please throw away trash in bins and do not keep food outside. Though we don’t see many bears, they do come to town occasionally. You may also see various insects and other wildlife around the property. Occasionally nature can find its way inside. No smoking, vaping, or candles allows on the property inside AND outside. Due to high fire hazard in our area, this includes on the decks and driveway. Any sign of smoking anywhere on the property will be charged $500. Due to the high cost of electricity, please notify us if you plan to charge your electric vehicle on the property. Charging electric cars will be an additional $50 per charge. We are at a high altitude and may get snow in the winter. The road to this home is plowed in the winter though we recommend all guests carry chains. Please note that snow is not removed from the property by the hosts. Shovels and salt are provided for guests. Twain Harte Lake is a private lake. You can hike around the lake, however we DO NOT HAVE A TWAIN HARTE LAKE MEMBERSHIP for guests. If you would like to partake in lake activities, we recommend Pinecrest lake. If you require Twain Harte Lake Access please ask us about our partner cabins. There are Ring security cameras outside the property. These are for the safety and security of ours guests as well as the property owner. Please note, these cameras do not monitor inside the home, only the exterior.
