This property is for long term 30+ day rental only. 1983 Lodge is located roughly 1 mile from downtown Ouray, directly off Main Street on the quiet and convenient north side of town. Enjoy the mountain living lifestyle this condo has to offer (log interior, the mountain view, comfy furniture, and outdoor activity proximity). The only thing’s you need to bring are your personal items! **This unit does not have A/C.** 1983 Lodge offers 1010 spacious square feet of mountain decor and future nostalgia. Upon entering the structure you’ll find yourself on the main floor and in the living room. A couch, recliner, and a television with Dish Network await you after long days spent in the mountains. Moving further into the room you’ll find the dining area with a table that seats 4. 3 bar stools sit at the bar of the fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, cups, utensils, microwave, coffee maker, four burner stove with large oven, a full sized refrigerator, etc.). Adjacent to the kitchen is the downstairs bedroom that provides a queen mattress, dresser, and closet. To conclude all the main floor has to offer is a full size washer and dryer and a full bathroom (shower and tub). The stairs to the right of the main (and only) entrance take you to the loft area. There you’ll find a queen bed, a trundle (2 twin beds), and another bathroom (sink, toilet and shower). Neighborhood travel is easy in the warmer months of the year. Not all roads are paved, but none require anything more than a 2 wheel drive vehicle to traverse. Depending on the weather, your trip aspirations and your comfort level, a 4 wheel drive vehicle should be considered during the winter months. There is a parking spot for one vehicle directly in front of the patio area, and room for another vehicle off the west side of the home (in between the unit and Main Street). If needed, my phone number is located in the condo. Please call (please leave a message) and text as I might be at work or out of cell phone service range. I’ll reply as soon as I can. **I am an “ocal” (not a local but close), so, given my proximity to the condo and/or my work schedule, I’ll need anywhere from 1-9 hours to get to the condo in the event of an emergency I can take care of myself. If the emergency requires more urgency, I will contact a local professional.** Neighborhood highlights include spectacular mountain views, quiet and cozy mountain homes, a short walk to the river/trail into town, and Ouray Riverside Resort (cafe and convenience store). Ouray is a mountain setting and bears are present during the warmer months. Be attentive when exiting the condo and while you’re out and about. It’s imperative that you don't leave food in your car, and please don’t leave trash outside/on the porch. 2. Given that the condo is located off Main Street (and even though the speed limit is only 35 mph), road noise should be expected (**emergency vehicles, plows, typical road noise). 3. The loft allows for beautiful views, but also nighttime light. If you’re a light sleeper, the main level bedroom might suit you best. 4. Service dogs are welcome but we will need to see documentation confirming their role. 5. Please provide an accurate number of guests staying at the condo 6. No partying/excessive loud noise at the condo.
