Heaven’s Ridge is a beautiful 3 bed, 2 bath cabin tucked away on almost 3 acres just minutes away from downtown Blue Ridge. Whether you want to enjoy a book on the spacious wrap around porch, nestle up by a cozy fire in the wood burning fireplace or fire pit, or explore the sights around Blue Ridge, this cabin is perfect for you. Oh, and did we mention the views? The long range mountain views are just the icing on cake. We sincerely hope you will consider being our guests at Heaven's Ridge. The Deck (With the View!): The deck is one of our favorite things to enjoy when we visit our cabin. The deck spans around 50% of the cabin, and has plenty of room for your whole group to sit and enjoy the views. Although the deck is not covered by a structure, it is surrounded by a plethora of trees that do a great job of providing shade. Master Bedroom: The master bedroom is located on the first floor and is furnished with a rustic, spacious, king size bed and an updated ensuite bathroom. Guest Bedroom: The guest bedroom is located on the first floor and is furnished with a cozy queen-size bed. With a restroom only feet away, this room is perfect for all. Bunk Room: The final bedroom is an open-air loft that we call the “bunk room”. It has two twin size beds with room to spare. This room is perfect for a gaggle of youngsters, or a couple teenagers that want to have a bed to call their own. Although not provided, this room could easily fit a couple air mattresses to comfortably fit even more. Bathrooms: Both bathrooms are updated and equipped with modern showers. With our tank-less water heater, everyone in your family will be able to enjoy a hot shower without the fear that you will run out of hot water. Location Our cabin is perched on top of a mountain mere minutes away from downtown Blue Ridge, shopping, entertainment, Lake Blue Ridge, fishing, hiking, and much more. The climb up to the cabin is a little steep, but my little 4 cylinder Kia is able to do it without issue, so it's nothing to be too concerned about. Parking The cabin has enough room for 3-4 cars/trucks. If your cars are small, then you should be able to fit 4, if everyone is driving pickup trucks, then plan to only fit 3. There is not room on the street for street parking. Our cabin is located just 12 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and Lake Blue Ridge and 15 minutes from McCaysville. There are two grocery stores within a 8 minute drive, and dozens and dozens of restaurants and shops in a 15 minute radius. The best part is that our cabin has such amazing access to local attractions and amenities, while still maintaining its privacy, nestled in the woods on a mountaintop shared by only a few other cabins. It really is the best of both worlds. * Our cabin is perched on a mountain and nestled by the woods. As a result, it is not uncommon to encounter wildlife and/or creepy crawlers. * Our cabin gets its water from a deep water well. As a result, like most well fed properties, you should expect a little less water pressure than you are used to in bigger metro cities. * Some of our furniture is, shall we say, dated. Set your expectations that you are visiting your grandma’s cabin and then you will not be disappointed. (See the images) * There will be a required $125 pet cleaning fee for your first week, and an additional $75 per subsequent week. This will be charged after your reservation is confirmed.
