Cozy Lake Front Log Cabin at Deka Lake

Rustic log cabin on popular Deka Lake! One of the best fishing lakes in BC. No restrictions, so bring the water toys, enjoy water skiing, tubing etc at the west end and fishing east end & Big Deka. Clean & cozy, 4bd/2bth gem of a house w/ huge front deck to enjoy lake views. Large flat yard-great for games or hang out by fire pit down by the dock. Kitchen is well stocked & linens/towels supplied. Satellite TV, DVDs, wifi. Ask about RV parking. Welcome families, fishers, hunters & your puppers The space Huge Master with King bed, TV and room on the floor for another mattress. The double bed bedroom is smaller and with a little retro flair. The bunk bed room has a double bed on bottom and a single up top. There is room to have a single mattress on the floor in this room. The bedroom on the main has the queen bed and has great views of the lake. It's a smaller room, but is super bright and perfect for a guest with limited mobility. Queen Blow-up Bed available and a couple extra single mattresses for floor. Guest access Parking for about 7 vehicles. The driveway is long and there is an RV spot you can park cars in if you don't have an RV. Other things to note Sunday to Sunday bookings during summer months, but sometimes we get 10 day bookings. So if you find a slot in the calendar that's open, message me and we will get you in! If you absolutely cannot accomodate Sundays, let me know. SOMETIMES my cleaner can accomodate other dates as well. Summer: five kayaks for you to use, a superfun pedal boat, horseshoe pit, bocce, Yardzee, and badminton rackets and loads of indoor games! More outdoor stuff coming as I find things. There is a fire pit and wood but be sure to check on firebans before lighting up! Outdoors: trails on trails on trails!! bring the dirt bikes, quads, and snow bikes for winter! Loads of forestry service roads and trails everywhere. Reception isn't bad either so you can get lost and still use GPS maps! Fall: HUNTING SEASON!! Lone Butte has a gun range, and the hunting is going to be great this year. Deer, moose, grouse, bear - come on up and stock your freezer! Winter: ICE FISHING! The burbot and the Kokanee are sought after by icefishers. Deka and Sulphurous have ice fishing derbies in Jan/Feb (Feb 18,2023)- and someone will be plowing a 'road' to the middle of the lake, so come on down and join in! SKIING! We have about a dozen sets of Cross Country Skis for you to use! Sizes range from a small strap on pair for a smaller child, 30, 35, 36, 39, 45, 46 and a couple more in between. Might be able to find the snow shoes if you were interested! I think I have two pairs floating around somewhere! If you are interested in bringing an RV as well, let me know. We have a spot that can hook up to electricity and there is a sanidump a couple miles away. We charge $30 per night for the RV which can be payable separately.
