This home was built on the Vercoe family homestead which was deeded to the Vercoe family in 1890 by President Benjamin Harrison. Dr. James Vercoe, the first medical doctor in the Skagit Valley, raised his family on this acreage. The property has remained in the Vercoe family and is now owned by Melissa, the great great granddaughter of Dr. Vercoe. Guest access Guests will have private access to the entire upstairs apartment, private balcony, and covered carport. The home was renovated with sound proofing in mind as well as to ensure privacy between the units. Parking is available under the carport as well as ample parking in the large driveway in front of the Farmhouse Loft sign. Please feel free to enjoy the green grass and expansive side yard. The neighbor donkey Tex will be there to welcome you! He might even greet you with his braying! Other things to note Please note that this is an upstairs apartment and guests will be required to climb the stairs for access. Guests have a private staircase and entrance to the Airbnb. The lower level of the home is a completely separate, private unit. Please be respectful of the tenants and their personal patio on the lower level. Airbnb guests have private access to the upstairs balcony and full use of the green space and grass in the side yard.
