Originally built in the 1950s on the historic Vercoe family homestead — land deeded by President Benjamin Harrison in 1890 — the home has been beautifully renovated while honoring its rich Skagit Valley heritage. Warm wood tones, abundant natural light from the windows, and views of the mountains and lush farm fields from every bedroom remind you this is no ordinary rental. The master suite features a plush king bed with fresh crisp linens and a beautiful en suite bath. The second bedroom offers a comfortable queen with mountain views, and the third bedroom — perfect for families — has a queen plus two twins. Every bed has a new mattress and we provide fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash so you can pack light. The heart of the home is the fully equipped kitchen and farmhouse dining table — perfect for gathering over a home cooked meal. Two family rooms with smart TVs give everyone space to spread out. A coffee bar stocked with coffee, tea and cocoa means your morning starts exactly right. Step outside to your private balcony where a comfortable sectional, chairs and fire table await. You’ll have exclusive access to the entire upstairs loft, your private balcony, and covered carport parking with additional space in the large driveway. The home was thoughtfully renovated with soundproofing to ensure complete privacy between units. The expansive side yard and green space are yours to enjoy too — perfect for kids, lawn games or just stretching out after a long drive. And don’t be surprised if Tex the neighbor donkey wanders over to say hello — he’s been known to welcome guests with a friendly bray! Other things to note The Farmhouse Loft is an upstairs apartment accessed by a private staircase — please keep this in mind if any guests have mobility considerations. The lower level of the farmhouse is a separate private residence. The thoughtful renovation ensures complete soundproofing and privacy between units — you’ll feel like you have the whole place to yourself. We simply ask that guests respect the lower level patio and backyard as the tenant’s private space.
