Amaryllis Guest House - a slice of country charm with lovely peaceful surroundings. Quiet, secluded home with country views and dark skies - great for birdwatching, golfing, hiking, relaxing. Guests from all walks of life are welcome, but absolutely no parties or events are allowed. Convenient for Kent (15 min), NEOMED (5 min), and Akron. Close to Dusty Armadillo, wineries, golfing, and hiking trails. Country peace and quiet but close enough to town for fine dining. The space Guests can book the whole house, which is located in a very quiet residential country area. If you want a relaxing atmosphere with dark skies for sleeping or viewing the stars, beautiful surroundings with lots of birds of different types, then this is the place for you! The house is a 15-minute drive from downtown Kent, and just round the corner from NEOMED and the Dusty Armadillo. Lots of golf courses within a 15 minute drive. Strictly NO smoking, vaping, or tobacco use in our home. Note that there are smoke detectors that will send an alert to the host if there is smoke in the home. Also note that the fireplace is not in service. Please note that we do NOT allow events, parties, or filming. All guests on the property must be registered and verified with Air BnB. Guest access If you book the whole house then you will have exclusive access to all three bedrooms plus living room, dining room, office, kitchen, large deck, and backyard with no shared spaces. The Meadow Suite has its own bathroom, while the two bedrooms of the Woodland Suite share a bathroom. There are two separate dining areas and lots of outdoor space where you can be private. There is a TV in the living room for the use of all guests - it is Roku enabled and cable TV can be accessed through the Spectrum App. Guests may use their own Netflix account or other streaming accounts. Please remember to sign out of apps before you leave! Guests do not have access to the basement, which is used exclusively for storage. Other things to note Amaryllis Guest House is in a residential area, surrounded by fields and woodland. Lots of wildlife to view and enjoy, but also ensure you take proper precautions - raccoons will enter the house if doors are left open! Note we have a septic system, so please use only the toilet paper provided. It is normal to hear water running in the basement from time to time as water from upstairs drains to the pipes below. The house is equipped with smoke detectors that will alert the host remotely if there is smoke in the house. The fireplace is not in service. Not suitable for small children and pets are not permitted.
