The Olive Tree House

The Maison de l'Olivier is located in a 17th century hamlet. It is part of an estate composed of four houses completely renovated in the respect of local traditions and the charm of the stone. Guests will enjoy its shaded and private terraces facing south overlooking nature and the Talaron Valley. It is located in the Ardèche mountains at 700 meters above sea level, 10 km from the town of Cheylard with its typical market, shops and restaurants and 40 km from Antraigues The space The house consists of 2 levels. You will arrive on the ground floor in the living room where the cathedral lounge and kitchen are located, giving access to a veranda where you will find a dining room and an American pool table. The veranda opens onto a 600 square meter plot equipped with an 8.5 X 4 meter swimming pool with stunning views of the Talaron Valley. In the main room, you have a beautiful fully equipped kitchen with an almost island where you can eat for 4 people. Backed by this island, a bioethanol fireplace to warm you up. On the lower half landing, you have access to a bathroom with shower, toilet, dryer, washing machine as well as a changing table and a baby bath. On the right, a bedroom with a 140 cm double bed. On the lower level, you have 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and TV. The other is for children with 2 single bunk beds with a trundle bed and a crib for babies. The bathroom on this level is equipped with a shower and toilet. Each of the bedrooms is equipped with blankets, duvets, pillows and are heated with electric radiators. Outside, you can access a shaded terrace where you can have lunch at a table for 6 people or spend pleasant evenings under the starry Ardèche sky. You also have access to the shared pool with the other 2 houses in the hamlet. You can book up to 19 beds in all the cottages (La Maison Bleue, La Maison du Talaron, La Maison de l'Olivier) for birthdays, weddings, parties, etc. Linens are not provided. For info (noted in the description): The pool, hammam and sauna are shared with 2 other accommodations. Guest access The house offers free access to the swimming pool located at the top of the estate with stunning views of the valley but also to the Hammam and Sauna located in one of the common areas of the 3 guest houses that make up this perfectly integrated complex. You have at your disposal a petanque court with all the equipment. The dining room has an American pool table. Other things to note The tourist tax is included in the price paid at checkout. No surcharges for the tourist tax or for all the options available to guests such as the swimming pool, the steam room, the sauna which are shared with 2 other accommodations. Please note: bed linen (sheets), beach towels and bath towels, washcloths, personal care products are not provided. Please provide them in your luggage.
