Description
Welcome to the Sunflower! Our chalet is ready for connoisseurs! In addition to space for parents, grandparents or large siblings, it is ideally furnished for small guests. The chalet is easily accessible by public transport or, if there is no snow on the valley descent, even directly by car. The Aletsch-Arena belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Site and covers the area of the large Aletsch Glacier, from Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau down to the Sparrhorn and the Belalp. You will be the only guest. Other things to note The chalet is easy to reach by public transport or, if there is no snow, even directly by car. Tschuggen is a good starting point for the UNESCO World Heritage Site, for skiing on the Belalp or even for shopping in nearby Milan. There is an adventure playground, a table tennis table and many hiking routes pass right by. In winter you get on your skis right in front of the chalet and take the valley run under your skis. If you prefer to go by sled, you won't want to miss the pizza on the Belalp on a nice evening, followed by a sled ride down to the chalet(don't forget your flashlight). In Blatten there is mini golf, a climbing park, a paddling pond, a playground and restaurants. On the Belalp there are wonderful views, mountain streams to dam, places to stop and fantastic hiking to the Aletsch Glacier and beyond. It has opportunities for climbing and hiking, mountain scooter rides, bike trails, paragliding, thermal baths, visiting sights (eg the Stockalper Palace). And in winter, of course, tobogganing and skiing or snowboarding up to over 3100 meters! Also included is the Massa Gorge, Switzerland's canyoning Eldorado! Insider tip: a glacier tour on the to the largest Swiss glacier. Many mountain huts can be reached on one or multi-day tours, mountain fanatics can even make it to the Jungfraujoch.
