This listing is for one private bedroom in a shared house. The bathroom is in the hallway and shared. The house is kept clean and welcoming, with shared access to the kitchen, living room, and yard. 7 minutes drive to Deception Pass Bridge/State Park, 12 minutes to downtown Oak Harbor. Keypad entry via the back door makes entry easy. NOISE WARNING: Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NASWI) is nearby. Fighter jets can be heard from inside using the airfield/flight line on weather-permitting days. The space The house is kept clean, and all are welcome. Listing is for the downstairs guest room, and the bathroom is located in the hallway. House is located on the North side of Whidbey Island, situated on 1/4 acre of land with a detached building in the backyard I sometimes stay in when I am in town. The house is a 5-minute drive from Deception Pass State Park, 10 minutes from the Naval Air Station, and 15 minutes from downtown Oak Harbor (shops and stores aplenty). The upper bedroom belongs to a different listing and might be occupied by tenants. Guest access Guests have access to the downstairs bedroom, common areas of the house, the back yard, and the front deck. Guests use the rear entry and keypad for secure arrival and departure. The upstairs bedroom belongs to a different listing and might be rented to another tenant. The front door can be unlocked and opened from the inside (must be locked when leaving the premises). During your stay Guests should read the guest book upon arrival. I stay in the She Shed (in the backyard) if I'm in town during guest stays. There are local contacts listed in the house book. While the house is cleaned meticulously, the bathtubs are permanently gouged/scarred by previous residents. The sinks, faucets, plumbing, and granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms are brand new as of August 2021. Guests are welcome to use all kitchen appliances. Please clean all used dishes and leave the house tidy when checking out. Thanks! Other things to note This listing is for one private bedroom in a shared house.
