Firefly cottage is a cozy 3 bedroom 1 bath home with a bright cheerful artsy flair. Located in Mio on the backwaters of the beautiful AuSable River. The open floor plan overlooking the water makes for a most enjoyable stay , definitely a vacation worth remembering. The space If you enjoy peace and tranquility then this is the place for you. As you walk in you will immediately feel at home. Beautiful views of the back waters are absolutely captivating. Inside in our bright and inviting sun room or outside on the deck you will definitely find this home a relaxing place to be. Guest access Guests will have total accessibility to the entire home. Also included is a private dock. If fishing is your pleasure bring your boat. You can keep it tied at your own private space right outside your home. The backwaters of the AuSable River has a variety of fish from pike, walleye, perch and many others. You can also fish from the dock or from the banks of the back yard. Fishing licenses can be purchased from several merchants in town. Other things to note Mio is a lovely little town in the middle of the beautiful Huron National Forest. Whether veiwing overlook sights of our beautiful AuSable River, kayaking, fishing or taking in some of our peaceful country roads you'll always find something worth seeing in Mio. In addition to these natural sights Mio is also home to a growing Amish community with many of their business open to you, bakeries, mercantile, feed store and bulk food just to name a few.
