Ocean Song Cottages were completely renovated in the Spring of 2022 with outdoor amenities upgraded in February 2023. The aim was to have cottages that were light filled, minimal and quietly luxurious with modern conveniences and finishes all while finding a balance that allowed them to sit comfortably in the forested oceanside landscape. The result was a carefully considered mix of nordic hygge and mid-century modern with a nod to our own Pacific Northwest's contemporary aesthetic: simple forms, real wood, a restrained palette and maintaining an open feel to the space. Stroll the natural coastline of the many nearby beaches while viewing wildlife that can include bears, deer, birds of prey, whales and seals. This serene and breathtaking oceanfront property can make your dream of enjoying a PNW getaway a reality! SITKA COTTAGE has an interior furnished with lots of natural wood to reflect her Pacific Northwest heritage but with a Nordic fusion twist placing strong emphasis on what matters - comfort, minimalism and nature. Our wish is for you to feel relaxed in this  warm, natural setting. Simplicity is beautiful, airy and inviting. This is Ocean Song, you are welcome here and we think you’ll like it. The Space - Sitka Cottage is 550 sq.ft. of open plan living. Kitchen, dining and living area are separated from the sleeping space and bathroom by a two step rise. Cooking - A fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, makes cooking easy and cleanup simple. If you are in a celebratory mood you may choose to arrange a curated enhancement with us prior to your arrival. Sleeping - A made in Victoria, BC handcrafted, organic queen size mattress welcomes up to 2 people. Crisp linens, plentiful pillows and your choice of down or wool duvet. You will enjoy a sleep that is healthy, restorative and luxurious. Bathroom - Spa inspired, walk-in curbless shower with two shower heads. Fresh towels, hair and body care products are natural and organic. Heating - Gas fireplace, electric baseboard and heated floors in the bathroom (even in the shower). Amenities - Simple pleasures; a gas grill, gas fireplace, 2-person hot tub and outdoor shower, playing cards, board games, horseshoes, croquet, badminton and bocce. Nearby beaches and provincial parks provide endless opportunities for hiking, biking and surfing. Location - Ocean Song Cottages are located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. There are  beaches, lakes, the Sheringham Point Lighthouse and Sooke Potholes, an easy drive away making this an ideal place for hiking, surfing and cycling.
