Welcome to our very private country retreat, located near the charming Dutchess County towns of Amenia, Millerton and Millbrook. We sit up on a hill overlooking a farm pasture, surrounded by woods and a grassy expanse on 10 very private acres. Our home has 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, sleeps 9, a spiral staircase into a kids loft, a media room, hot tub, BBQ grill, firepit, parking and more! Our home has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 9, a media room, an open kitchen, dining and living room areas, 3 full bathrooms, 2 king beds, a queen bed, bunkbeds, a sleeper sofa and two large decks with nice views. We have wall A/C units in all of the bedrooms and living room areas so it stays nice and cool in the summer months. Our large main deck has a gas BBQ grill and table and chairs that are perfect for outside dining. The other, more secluded deck has a hot tub, outside shower and chaise deck chairs. There is a very big side yard for yard games and endless, safe kid entertainment plus a tree swing. We have just installed a new firepit as well. We also just installed a large gas generator, just in case the power goes out, so you would not be affected, if it did. Mark & Eva are the owners and Rudy is the property manager! * NOTE: Our family is allergic to pet hair so we no longer accept them, but will consider them, on a very limited exception basis! We are up a long driveway and tucked back into the woods on 10 acres. You will need a car to get around but the charming towns of Amenia, Millbrook, Millerton and Sharon (CT) are close by. We are not around but don't hesitate to contact us or our property manager Rudy with any questions. We are very remote and private and on 10 secluded acres but there are many things to do and see within a 15-30 minute car drive! You will need a car to get around and there is plenty of parking near the house! What is unique about our home is how secluded it feels, yet the views are expansive. Stargazers - this is your place! We also have a dedicated media room, a lovely hot tub, outdoor shower, a large outside deck and plenty of parking.
