VILLA MYRTIA A magnificent Corfu villa in the Pelekas area located 12 km from the city, the airport and the port, 10 min. walk from the village, 7 min. drive from the nearest beach and 15 min. drive from the Corfu Golf Course. The villa (300 sq.m.) is situated in a 3-acre Mediterranean olive grove, flower and vegetable garden and commands stunning, tranquil views to the Ionian Sea and horizon, as far as the eye can take you. This particular spot of the area of Peleκas is known for the most spectacular sunset on the island, which unfolds right in front of the house. A second villa within the property but situated more than 20 meters away is occupied by the owner who is always willing to assist, advise and offer suggestions, about beaches, places to eat, historical sites, night life, sports activities on the island and help, to make your stay an unforgettable experience. The two villas are completely separated so, there is absolute privacy throughout the day and night. A walk around the garden offers its visitors a unique experience of Mediterranean flora with colors and odors unfolding all of nature’s glory. Olive oil is produced by the owners, while fruit and vegetable are grown organically and offered to guests (depending the season) during their stay. A lounging area built on the edge of the cliff offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the Adriatic sea. The views of the sandy beach of Kontogialos (Pelekas Beach) right below are ideal for enjoying a glass of wine during sunset hours. The yellow-hued villa features four bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 people. The two master bedrooms have double beds, en-suite bathrooms and direct access to the beautiful garden. Both have fantastic views of the sea. One of them can host two more people in the loft bedroom. There is one more twin bedroom and a spacious loft accessible from the sitting room with a double bed, sharing a bathroom. The living, dining room and kitchen, all open plan, are inviting, spacious and full of light. Both central underfloor heating and a large and cozy fire place provide warmth for the more chilly nights and times of the year. In addition, the kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals. It is outfitted with stainless steel Miele appliances. The garden and veranda can be accessed without using any steps, making the house ideal for children, older and disabled guests. There are extra seating arrangements in the veranda of the house, which spreads out to the olive grove: large sofa, chairs, a hammock, as well as another dining table. Dining outside during the sunset is one of the perks of the house. Beaches: The villas are situated in close driving proximity to some of the finest sandy beaches that Corfu has to offer: Pelekas (Kontogialos) is a 5 minute drive, while Yialiskari, Glifada and the Mirtiotissa can be reached within 10-15 minutes each. The beach of Ermones is 15 min. away where small boats can take you to isolated beaches of the west coast.
