Quietly located a 5-minute walk from Grassington’s main square with shops, tea rooms and inns serving food. Grassington hosts events round the year with the Summer Festival, 40’s weekend and the long standing Dickensian Festival. It has also provided the backdrop to the new series of ’All Creatures Great and Small’. The nearby villages of Kettlewell, Buckden and Linton also offer charming places to eat. Skipton, with its castle, bustling market and canal boats, is only 10 miles away. Historic Bolton Abbey on the River Wharfe is close by, as well as the scenic Settle-Carlisle railway over the Ribblehead viaduct. Slightly further afield is the pretty spa town of Harrogate and the historic city of York.
