The apartment is located on the ground floor of the house & has a private entry door through the back that goes into the backyard/patio. Please be mindful of excessive noise/music past 11pm during the week & 12a on weekends, owner occupied upstairs. Parties NOT allowed/tolerated Anything available in this ground floor apartment is available for use, the kitchen, bathroom, living room, etc. Laundry is available! This apartment has a stove & fridge that are available for use. Kitchen has all the essentials needed for basic use. If you need anything for cooking you can always feel free to ask in advance! There is a spice rack available, basic cooking utensils and pots/pans. This is primarily a guest space, with homey touches. *There is a small potential for noise. It is owner occupied upstairs with 2 small dogs.* Fire place in the living room is not in service. Please do not attempt to use. During the fall, spring, and summer time we have patio chairs (2) set right outside your entrance door for some backyard coziness! Feel free to enjoy a cup of coffee out there! I’m always available for any questions/concerns via phone call or text! I’m not always on the property so it is hard to meet guests for personal interaction. I respect guests privacy but will gladly chat when our paths cross! The neighborhood is a quiet little residential area. You’ll see kids riding bikes, and playing outdoors, family gatherings, etc. If you’re looking for a quiet place, relaxation, nature then you’ll fit right in! Beacon is a great small little town with endless shops and restaurants to try on Main St. Walking outside and looking up at Mt. Beacon is my favorite part about this home. The walk to Mt. Beacon is no more than 10 minutes, walk to Main St. can vary on different factors, but is only a mile away(depending on where). Easy and fast access to busy highways, 84 & 87 Beacon is roughly an hour and a half from NYC/Queens area, and 30 minutes from popular shopping outlets- Woodbury Commons. Uber is my favorite way to get around when visiting new places. I’ve used it in Beacon, it’s quick, easy, and affordable. However, walking really allows you to experience Beacon in a different light. Highly recommend walking for Main St. shopping/dining. I have a driveway where you’re welcome to park if you’re driving. For your own personal peace of mind there are outdoors cameras used for surveillance. This includes a Nest Doorbell, Ring floodlight in the driveway & a Nest outdoor camera in the back.
