The house is unique as it has the convenience of being the only large family home listed in the heart of the Village with off street undercover parking. The space The house sleeps 4 in two large bedrooms each with a queen bed. Please note rate listed is for 2 guests using one bedroom only. The house is popular with family and friends visiting local Yarravillians due its size, value for money and convenience of being the only large family located right in the heart of Yarraville Village and with under cover off street parking The street is quite with limited through traffic. However, there’s no need for a car as it's a 3 minute stroll to the Village and Yarraville train station. The centre of Melbourne CBD is an easy 15 mins (5 stops) on the train or 10 minutes in a car. If you don't wish to cook simply walk to the Village for take away or to enjoy a meal out at one of the many restaurants or cafes on your door step. Yarraville Village was voted the World’s 5th coolest suburb in 2020 and it just keeps getting better. All within a short walk of the house are two supermarkets, gourmet butchers, organic grocer, delicatessen, the famous Sun Theatre Art Deco cinema and our beautiful grassed off outdoor dining that attracts the rest of Melbourne keen to enjoy. Guests will be thrilled with the huge kitchen, its light and bright and fitted with high end Miele appliances, AEG washing machine/dryer, concrete bench tops, marble island bench and opens out to the large open plan dining, living room and office/desk area. Unlike other Airbnbs, I like to cook and have equipped the house with plenty of cookware, cutlery, glasses, platters etc to whip up a beautiful meal.
