And if you have more of an adventure up your sleeve, you can get to many other trails and destinations along with Asheville in less than an hour's drive. Blue Heron Cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood that is very walkable. Parking is located on level with the cottage in a space just below the front entrance. Other things to note Blue Heron Cottage is pet-friendly with a $75 pet fee for 1 pet under 60 lbs per stay. We ask guests to keep pets off of furniture and to follow the leash law in town. Hot Springs is a great destination in all seasons! The weather is mild, and roads are tended in the wintertime.
